Absolutely love everything about the 7am cocoon. I simply put my baby in the car seat with just her clothing and a warm blanket and she stays warm. But there's nothing in back of her, so she also doesn't get overly sweaty (like in other car seat covers). It's so easy to go out. I don't have to think twice because I don't have to deal with the "bundling up baby" hassle. The only thing I don't like is that I had to take the canopy off my Doona, but I'm still not taking off a star because A) I don't really need a canopy when I have this, baby is covered. B) 7am has other options where the canopy can stay on (the wrap, the Igloo, etc). Bonus: I absolutely LOVE the white with fur. I get so many comments on how nice it looks. Plus it stays clean! Seems the fabric is dirt resistant because I haven't washed it yet and it's still perfectly white (baby is 2.5 months). Read more

I love this however, it is too hot. If you are walking your baby outside then this is the product for you. not knowing it was as heated as it was the baby kept crying and kicking it off while I was driving. I pulled over and noticed him sweating. so on the next ride I lifted it up from the car seat so that it wouldn't be on him while driving but I'm not sure if that's the best thing either because I had to leave the heat on in the car at full blast. Again, I love this as it is soft, pretty and just nice but it was too hot for the baby in the car. Read more
Fits Nuna Pipa Lite RX without being too tight around the elastic edge. Still have room to spare! And because the horizontal zippers unzip all the way to the left and right, you are able to still squeeze the car seat canopy through to shield from sun while still keeping their feet warm! Also works perfectly to zip up all the way with the canopy pushed back underneath. Read more
Seriously a necessity if you have a baby in a cold climate! It definitely keeps your baby warm in under 10°F weather and gives you peace of mind. I can’t recommend this enough! Had it for over two years and I’ve let multiple people borrow it, holds up amazing! Worth the money!! Read more
I bought this for my baby who was born in September for the winter. So far it’s been great, but as others commented it may overheat. My baby has had a temperature of around 98.1 for all appointments and when we went to the two month appointment he was at 99.1 - that was a two minute walk to car with this on the seat, unzipped but still on seat for an 8 minute car ride, then one minute zipped into pediatrician. He was removed within a few minutes and was undressed for a few minutes before taking temp. I definitely recommend unzipping once in the car for short trips (taking off seat for longer trips once car heats up) and taking off once inside. It’s very easy to stretch on and off seat. The product itself works great- it is super helpful because you can’t buckle in with a jacket so I know he’s toasty in there even with cold winds and temps (located in New Jersey so it does get cold). If you watch your baby and only use when actually in the cold you should be ok! Read more
