I bought this when it was on sale for $130. A real bargain. It was hot outside and 15-20 degrees hotter inside my apartment as there is only one window and it only opens a few inches at the bottom. Then I got this. Suddenly ice cold air. It has a dehumidifier and a timer. It even has the front vent slats "swing" which means the vertical slats move so the effect is much like an oscillating fan. It comes with a remote and everything just works. I dont see it on sale right now but it is still a nice little unit. And there is no way one could mount an A/C unit i in the window except a like portable one like this anyway. I may buy a longer vent hose for $20. Otherwise I think I got a great bargain and have zero regrets buying this unit. Read more

I am so happy with this purchase, the sound is a lot less than I expected running normally. There is very little drainage when it is running the air conditioner. The dehumidifier is a cool air and it pulls humidify out of the air really well and it does drain a lot. We put ours up a little higher so we can use the hose that comes with the air conditioner to collect the run off in a bucket. The internal reservoir is very small. I would buy this again without a doubt. We had it hooked up an running in a couple of minutes. Okay unit itself works okay. I have a small room and it cools it down okay, not amazing but enough where I was okay with it. But I had the worst experience with the seller. So I ran my unit and decided I should drain it since I have been running it for a few days. I went over to the unit and my carpet was completely soaked. I have dark blue carpet so I didn’t notice it was wet. Come to find out my unit didn’t come with a drainage cap on it. Messaged the seller and no response. Talked to amazon and asked them for the seller to send the part. Seller said they didn’t have it and told amazon to have me buy it myself and gave a 10% refund. I realized that there was a lot of different sizes and I didn’t have a measuring device to measure it and it’s in a place where it’s hard for me to do that, messaged amazon to contact seller to ask what size I would need. Guess what?! They never answered back! The rep from Amazon tried to help the best that they could and felt they went above and beyond their duties trying to help me. I’m just so upset that I had so many issues and feel like this seller didn’t want to help and got my money. Don’t recommend buying from this seller at all. Will not help if you need something. If you do buy this, please check to make sure you have a drainage cap on your unit before running it because I would hate for you to soak your carpet. Read more

(Updated review after several weeks of use) Downgraded from 5 to 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1. My energy bill went up about $60 from usual this time of year (using mini split AC), while the sticker on the side says $70/yr energy cost. I only had it on low mode and set the temp to 72°. 2. I’m seeing alot of rust (including little chunks) in the water coming out of the unit, even though I drained the tank immediately after it filled up every time. I fear that it will not last long. (Original review) Works great. We have a 399 sq ft tiny home and it made a huge difference inside. The dehumidifier and AC both are very powerful. It might be a little noisy for some, but personally I like the sound. I do wish the window kit had an option for smaller windows, but I guess I could cut it to fit. I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. Shipping was fast and setup was a breeze. It cools my large bedroom just as well as my friend's $450 unit, and it's quiet enough that I can easily hear my TV. What amazed me most is the dehumidifier. I was worried about drainage, but after running it for a full day, there isn't a single drop in the drain. The media could not be loaded. I didn’t expect much from this low price AC. I got it for my bedroom because sometimes it’s not hot enough for our central ac but my room is above a road and traffic will wake me up if I leave my window open. It’s worked great in my bedroom for a week. Today during a Michigan heat wave my central AC stopped working right. I put this little guy out in the living room and it’s doing an awesome job with the whole 1200 square-foot apartment. The noice is average and it was well worth the money. I was pretty nervous that the AC wouldn't work as planned. The price was very appealing but after some research I was convinced it wouldn't be enough. I was wrong. Although it may not be as fast at cooling my bedroom down as a standard window ac I was very impressed with how well it maintained cool temperature. I also have not had issues having to drain the ac. Instructions could be a bit more specific but it doesn't take a genius to put together either so you get what you pay for. Great purchase may buy a bigger version for the living room. This product does not do what it says at all. Says it cools up to 350 ft. My room cannot be any bigger then 250 ft. It does not cool down my room at all. The hose is made very cheap and ripped trying to fix it does not stay in the back of the unit at all. Hose is very cheaply made it should not rip so easily!!! Like what!!! Unit itself is nice but if it doesn't do what it says how nice is it? My old AC I had for 8 years works way better then his new high tech one. I bought a new one for my room and this AC is useless!
