The only gripe I have with this unit is that it’s NOT whisper quiet at all . If I’m in a meeting, I turn it off . It’s pretty loud actually. For the money this is a pain. The plastic hose comes unattached at both ends letting in the hot air. To drain this bitch you have to pick it up. It's too heavy for me. My son has to empty it by pick it up to undo the rubber drain and tilt it in a pan....or the tub. To do that you have to unattch the air hose and unplug it. Try to reattach everything again so it doesn't falling apart. No floor drains here. It should have a removable pan. It only cools off one room in a small apartment on the second floor. After 3 days finally cooling apartment from 80 to 72 when it's humid out. Yes I have a/c unit that can't keep up. Read more
