The most GOATED knife

Truly, one of the most GOATED knives. I'm a knife reviewer (Between Two Forks YT channel). So I have knives ranging to From typical budget production, full custom hand forged, and nice Japanese made knives. Price to performance ratio, this knife is unbeatable. Easily sharpened knife. You can use the unglazed bottom of a ceramic plate of mug to touch up if needed. The balance is right around the handle area. Nice and very light weight. Which helps with fatigue. Read more

BEST KNIFE EVER

Growing up in an asian household, my parents had loads of these knives in our knife drawer. Not sure if the ones we had were discontinued or just very specific, but this knife is even better. It's almost like a thin cleaver, but NEVER use this if you need to chop into bone or anything hard. I find that this knife is the perfect size, shape and weight for everyday use. I like that the end it's pointed as that makes me real nervous about stabbing myself or others. This knife is sharper than any knife I've ever owned. I bought it a few months ago (not sure exactly when) and the blade is STILL super sharp. Since it's so thin and malleable, it's easy to sharpen with your standard knife sharpener (you can use a sharpening rod as well if you prefer). But of course, I still have not had to sharpen it! I highly recommend this knife to anyone that needs a sturdy, solid knife for everyday chopping or slicing. It's very comfortable to hold and is so sharp it makes chopping anything such an easy task. 100/10 rating since you can't go over 5 stars Read more

hammer

take 15 minutes and resharpen this thing and you will have a monster. The finish is poor, the corners are sharp, and the factory edge on mine came chipped. No worries for 9 bucks. Reminds me of a Rada knife Read more

This knife shreds

The only bad thing I have to say about this knife is that it's not a full tang, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. However, that doesn't really affect the balance, or the performance of this absolute gem. Delivered razor sharp, and I mean RAZOR SHARP, this nikiri style blade does all of the work for you the way a good knife is supposed to. I bought it primarily to use for my prep shifts and it made unrolling a bell pepper or dicing a tomato into a breeze, and it's cheap enough where I don't have to worry about it walking away on me. I've read mixed reviews on their ability to hold an edge, so that remains to be seen, the negative comments I came across were older and some of them were critical of its ability to cut through meat, which isn't what a nikiri is designed to do. Some of these comments were also critical of the blade being too thin, but again a nikiri is supposed to have a thin blade. I won't question the sharpening techniques of some randos on the internet, but if it ends up that I'm not able to maintain the edge with my stones then I'm only out like $13. Read more
