These clips are amazing! I have long, thick hair (mid back). Using claw clips caused headaches and didn't always hold the hair firmly. They left creases in the hair. Plus I had to remove the claw clip before driving or it forced my head too far forward. These flat clips are wonderful. They hold my hair both twisted or in a bun without the prongs digging in to my scalp. At the end of the day there are NO creases. I can drive with the flat clips in place without issues. As much as I would like to give a 5 I cannot. I love the look. I love the colors. The description states good for thin / fine hair which unfortunately I have. I normally pull my hair into a ponytail, twist and secure with a claw clip, fanning out the twist at the top. My hair is now down to my waist so the smaller claw clips I am using will slide and twist so that the fanned section is on the side of the back of my head. Not a pulle together look for a professional person. The larger claw clips obviously are even worse. Therefore I went shopping for a better clip and found these. I thought how wonderful to have so many colors and since they're flat I won't have to worry about sitting back in my desk chair. Well, guess what? They slide and twist just like the small clips so I am back to the drawing board. I tried to secure with a rubber band first but since these are flat that won't work either. These will probably work for someone else and maybe for a different style they will for me but they don't for my current style. Read more

So these are the first hair clips I’ve found that are FLAT! I have longish, thickish, wavy hair, and clips are the quickest way to put my hair up. But “regular “ clips stick out so much that I am unable to even sit comfortably in my car without having to lean slightly forward. Forget sitting up in bed leaning back against your pillow with regular clips-not these though. They are strong enough to hold all my hair, and so comfortable that I actually slept with one in my hair. I love the soft, natural colors as well. Read more
