My goal, as I age is primarily to keep moving, to stay as healthy and active as I can, and honestly to try to preserve my appearance in realistic ways. One thing I can control is thinning hair using products like this. Minoxidil has been proven by science to coddle your hair follicles and increase hair growth. I’ve actually been applying different versions for the past year, including foams that look like shaving cream, shampoos, and serums. I do like the serums and have developed a technique where I apply the solution directly to the roots of my problem areas and then massage it in under my outer hair directly at the roots for maximum benefit. It has no smell and does not leave your hair greasy as it does its job. It soaks in quickly and disappears leaving normal looking hair behind. The birds are standing out on ice in the middle of the water. I have not seen a glimpse of a fish except for the day before that kitty cat threw up, but she came from the play area. These bottles each come with a dropper that makes it very convenient for you to apply it at your roots. It also comes with a separate applicator that may be nice for some who might have an aversion to getting this on their fingertips. They can put the solution into the applicator to rub in without having to get their serum on their hands. That’s not a problem for me though, and I like to massage it to apply it directly and just wash my hands really well afterwards. My problem areas are typical: the crown of my head and a spot that I had a small medical procedure on. I have been diligently applying minoxidil to. It is noticeably thickening my hair. The other problem area that I and many aging have is on the crown of your head. You don’t think about it because you don’t see it, but you see it on others as they walk by and they see it on you. Apply this serum to the roots, massage it in daily and you will notice over months that your hair becomes thicker! The serum does not leave your hair greasy looking while it does its job. As I said, I’m going to fight the effects of aging every step of the way to prolong my healthy and active lifestyle. One note, I was told by my endocrinologist that biotin can change thyroid level test results. They recommended I discontinue a week before my blood test and said I can resume afterwards. Talk to your medical professional, but that’s what I was told. Read more

This is a well-presented and substantial minoxidil set, but I want to be clear up front that I’m reviewing this based on packaging, contents, and overall design rather than results, since hair regrowth products take months of consistent use to properly evaluate and I haven’t started using it yet. The set includes eight bottles of 5% minoxidil serum, which is a generous amount and clearly intended as a long-term supply. Each bottle has its own dropper, and it also includes a scalp massaging applicator, which feels like a thoughtful addition rather than an afterthought. Overall presentation feels professional and well put together. The formula is unscented, which I appreciate, and the labeling makes it clear that this is a standard 5% topical minoxidil solution for men and women. That’s about as strong as over-the-counter options go, so it seems in line with what most people would be looking for if they’re considering this type of product. One thing I did notice is that the included instructions are fairly brief, especially when it comes to explaining how to use the applicator tip. I had to look through other customer reviews to better understand how people were using it, which helped, but clearer instructions would have been nice. I don’t have significant hair loss and am still deciding whether to use this for some mild thinning at the crown, so I can’t comment on effectiveness yet. That said, the quantity, packaging, and included accessories make this feel like a solid option compared to other topical minoxidil products I’ve seen. For now, I’m comfortable rating this based on value, presentation, and design, and I’ll revisit my opinion after I’ve had more time to decide whether and how to incorporate it into my routine. This is a 5% minoxidil solution with 0.2% biotin. It is similar to what you will likely see both from "name brands" as well as generic brands in your local drug store. Although similar, this came with a couple of extra minor differences, yet the price was about half what I've been paying over the last several years. Years ago, I started on minoxidil with one of the name brands. I eventually moved to an online service that was cheaper and would deliver once per quarter. I shopped around and for the last two years have been purchasing a box with 4 bottles about twice per year. This box has 8 bottles for almost the exact same price that I'm currently paying for 4 bottles, which means this is half price what I have been paying (there's also a coupon right now that would make it even more cost advantageous). The box does come with a couple of things I didn't expect. Normally, my prior product came with one dropper for four bottles. This has a dropper in each bottle already. It already came with an alternative applicator that is meant for more direct scalp application and massage. I haven't formed an opinion yet on the alternative applicator. After a couple of times, it feels like an extra step without much benefit, but maybe that's just because I've built up a routine and habits over several years on how I normally use minoxidil and this just requires some adjustment. Even if I never use the extra applicator, the serum itself is still the same but packaged more nicely and at half the price! I don't give 5-star reviews for anything other spectacular products. I couldn't identify any way to improve this - great value for a solid product and believe it deserves all 5 stars. Read more
This 5% minoxidil serum does nothing for thinning hair or bald spots. It irritates the scalp badly and has zero effect on hair or beard growth. Read more
