Heckuva deal if you like paper filters for espresso.
I didn't know I needed them until I tried them! Espresso people use these in different ways, I put mine on top of the bottomless portafilter I use rather than the bottom. I'm getting no channeling (to be fair, I wasn't really before either) but I'm using them out of laziness in that I want to keep the shower screen clean which these quite successfully do. I don't really notice any difference in crema or taste. As a longtime pour over guy, these make sense to me whether used on the bottom or top of the portafilter. Read more
Why not- cheap for the overall cost and makes things much cleaner
Perfect-fits great and a must have when working with a bottomless portofilter- stops the sprayers for the most part making it much cleaner and makes a perfect puck for knock outs. Read more

Low cost, more foam
I’ve been using these for about a week now with my Nespresso maker. I reuse the pods and use a filter on top before positioning the silicone “lid.” I was looking for a less expensive bulk option to replace myCap which I’ve been using for years. So far I have been very pleased. They are slightly heavier than myCap, but the only impact I’ve noticed has been to increase the amount and richness, if you will, of the foam that is produced during the brewing. I like foam, so I consider this an improvement. Less expensive, bulk ordering, more foam. All around an improvement! Read more
