This thing is legit! I've used and installed dozens of different LED light fixtures in my line of work, and this one is probably the most well built of them all. It has a robust casing around it, and every plug or switch has a threaded fitting with a gasket over it for water and dust protection. It's dimmable, has a wide operating voltage, different default power levels, different color temperatures. What more could you need? The mounting bracket is easy to install, and is quite secure once screwed down. It's a really good light. Read more

This is a great little fixture that you can hardwire outside or inside a garage or barn. I especially like the slider switches under a weatherproof rubberized cover that allow you to select from three color temperatures and three brightness levels. It also works with a compatible dimmer (recommended Leviton model DS710-LFZ). It has universal international input voltage of 100v-277v so you can install this pretty much anywhere on the planet. This is obviously designed to be out in the weather and hard wired to an appropriate weatherproof junction box. The instructions however show you how to run the AC wires through holes in a ceiling and do not show you that it should properly be connected to a suitable rated junction box. Looks great, works great, and I am enjoying the bright LED lights in my workshop. Read more

This unit has a white powder coat finish on a cast aluminum body. The options to select wattage and color are a plus. It is also remotely dimmable with the purchase of a 10v dimmer. The fixture is sealed against the elements with what looks to be a foam seal embedded in the body that seals around the polycarbonate lens. I would not put too much faith in this seal. Other units I have seen have actual rubber o-rings. It has a helpful bracket with various screw locations that lets the fixture “hang” while wiring it up. The fixture then slides into slots on the bracket and secures with in screw on the side. Beware the light fixture is not held completely motionless in the bracket. While it is held to the point it would not ever fall; it does move quite a bit. It does help if you bend the slots on the bracket to hold the fixture more rigidly. The fixture body does have NPT openings on the sides implying that you are able to attach conduit and wire the unit from side to side… This can be done but you will need to completely dismantle the unit and move the wires from exiting the top and direct them to the side of the unit. There is plenty of room in the body of the unit to reroute the wires. If this is done I recommend sealing the top with silicone before moving the plug from the side to the top. The manufacturer does not advertise side to side wiring as an option so this does not negatively affect the review. Overall I would say pricing is slightly better than others with similar features. I got this to illuminate my workstation after my fluorescent shop light fixture started to fail. It's very solid, and unpleasantly bright if you look at it. The brightest setting is certainly unpleasant, but I love being able to see what I'm doing. I'm sure the lower brightness/temperature settings are fine, but I can't be bothered to open it up and change things. Also it's waterproof, and that's a huge bonus. My work area isn't completely closed off, and sometimes things get wet unexpectedly, which is probably what kill my shop light. Read more

This light seems to be put together well. I like that you can cycle through the color and wattage settings however accessing these functions once the light is hung in place would be difficult and require you to take it down. On the highest watt and " brightness" settings, it wasn't as bright as I hoped it would be. In my completely dark garage at night it looks to be a little brighter than if I had put a lamp front in my house in there. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This light is insanely bright. You can select the wattage to 60, 70 or 80 watts. At 60 W it’s 8400 lumens, at 70 W it’s 9800 lumens, and 80 W it’s 112,000 lumens. I don’t know what mine is set to at the moment because I don’t feel like opening it up to change it, but it’s extremely bright. I have a shed that’s about 12‘ x 14‘ and this will be the single central light fixture and I think it’s going to be bright enough in there to read an Oxford English dictionary without a magnifying glass! Potential cons I say with this light are: 1) it might be too bright! And 2) the CRI is only 80. That’s the “color rendering in index”. It’s really not important unless you’re doing artwork or you need to make sure that the colors in the room are reflected accurately. This is for a shed and I don’t really care if my shovels or rakes don’t look the accurate color! Honestly, I’m no artist, and I can’t really tell the difference when somebody says the CRI is off anyway. Read more

If you want a well built light that is very bright, this is a good one. Super heavy metal case with heat sink fins all the way around. It had very good brightness but tops out at 11200 lumens which is not as good as say the UFO or round bay lights which average around 15000 lumens. This one definitely has the better looks as it should since it is mainly used for under canopies like service station lighting. I think the price is good for the build quality. Read more
