This is a functional piece. If you have cars and trucks and batts, this is a must have instrument at home. Its easy to use, plug connect and start the car. I try it on mercedes benz truck 1319, batts where completely death and it started the truck; i just follow a tip that saw on youtube to use only one of the two batts connect to the truck and it started the truck. It gets a littlet hot while you use it but not a melting point, remember i use it with a truck, with completely bad batts. I started the truck twice with a simple charge, so it has a decent battery life. At the price point i bought it, its a great deal. I don’t know why but this unit is no longer available. I have carried one of these in my car over a year now, and it is the best vehicle item I have ever invested in. Last year for Christmas I purchased one for my sister and son. With tire pressure fluctuating as much as they do these days, I have topped my tire air off dozens of times. My 15 year old daughter likes to do that for me. And if I’m taking her to school it is easy for her to operate only taking a few minutes to correct the air pressure. Even used it at her school when the battery went down and car wouldn’t start. Easy to jump start. So I’m very happy I purchased this unit, but sad to see it is no longer available. I had to select a different unit for my wife’s car this year, and hope it measures up. I highly recommend this type of car maintenance product for those tire and battery emergencies. It will save you the $2.50 cost or trying to find an air compressor that works. May even save you a battery trip by triple A. I always recharge after each use. The directions say not to leave this in your car during cold weather. Left this in my trunk since I bought it and charged (a couple years??) and took it out to put air in my wife's tires one spring and it worked fine (still had full charge). Read more

If I could give it less then one stars I would. I couldn’t figure out how to complain to Amazon or contact the seller. This is the second time we have jumped a car with it and it caught fire. Not only did this product not work (we used it correctly). It is a serious fire and safety hazard. If I knew how to send the smoking acid leaking broken equipment back to the seller, I would happily pay the shipping. We wanted to take a picture of it for the review, but felt that it was too dangerous to get close to it, especially with all the smoke. Not only am I dissatisfied, I feel that it could have hurt me or someone in my family seriously. What if that would’ve happened when I was driving my vehicle and it was in my backseat? Works really well, love the quick start! IV charged with vehicles other battery's and sat there for half hr with big truck even and revn the engine to charge dead batteries than one try of super charge, quick start works Everytime. Also I found a battery is super dead, just let this charger sit on it for like 30 sec. Jus make sure u don't over do it. If a battery isn't charging don't try more than 3 times. I suggest get another battery. Cuz u may ruin this for a useless battery. And ul kno if ur air compressor is hooked rgt if it fills pretty fast ur doin it right. Like . 5 psi in 5 second it's rgt. While its shape is not as slick as others - this one works better than most. I can inflate 6 cars from 20 or so to 33 easily. Inflation hose is twice as long as most - very handy. Jump starts just like any other jumper. I bought same model 5 years ago - it is still working as new. Read more
