A sturdy and versatile 3-in-1 out plug and play HDMI2.1 splitter is my preferred choice of of the four quality splitters I have at home. Able to reach 8k, this splitter is ready to go out of the box with a battery included remote, usb power chord, and a splitter that features seamless connectivity and compatibility options working well with the devices of today and tomorrow and can be set up in minutes. What I prefer about this splitters over others is the sturdiness of the device, hdmi plugs fit snug into the device and don’t come lose, the ease and speed of switching sources without unwanted auto-switch interruptions, the picture quality and its comparability with both my newer and older devices. I wouldn’t say this device is heavy but Tod not too light and unlike some of my other splitters this one can sit flat as easily as it can be suspended given the four HDMI cables tend to pull devices like this in any direction. While it’s nice to see bi-directional capability, it doesn’t function like a 1 in 3 out hdmi display extender you might use for a computer work space but instead a 1 in 3 out switch. Ultimately a great solution for toggling between different hdmi sources seamlessly without limiting the resolution and refresh rate of your devices or tv, as such it’s worthy of a 5star rating and certainly worthy of your consideration. I run multiple media setups in a few spots in the house with different computers or consoles. This works quite well and gets the job done. It isn't too cumbersome and can easily be hidden away behind something. There aren't any noticeable problems with image quality or responsiveness. Compared to some other splitters I have it doesn't have any strong differences for better or worse. This one does not have an audio extractor if you are looking to plug headphones in to multiple machines at the same time. Overall quite pleased. Read more
I ordered this HMDI switcher for my home theater setup. It makes switching the source for my projector very easy between game consoles, mini PC and Roku. I like that it's HDMI standard 2.1 which is the latest standard and has the highest bandwidth potential (8k). For my use case closer to 1080p and 2k resolution outputs, it worked flawlessly and it should have headroom for future proofing if we ever get to 4k or 8k movie standards. It's also nice that they give you a quality braided USB-C cable for additional dedicated power, though I found for my use case this wasn't necessary. The picture quality is perfect and I have perceived no input lag or stuttering of any kind. The unit itself is maybe slightly larger than it needs to be, but is still compact enough to tuck away behind devices or in my case on a shelf. I also really appreciated that the manufacturer gives you the option of using a tactile button for switching the source, or a remote. That gives the flexibility to have this mounted on a desk or up high on a shelf with no difference in functionality. For the price this is a great little HMDI switch and I recommend it. Read more
