When they say this stand is heavy-duty, they’re not kidding. The build quality is outstanding. Nothing about it feels cheap. Every piece, from the height locks to the screw adapters, feels solid and well-made. It can go really high much higher than I actually need, and it stays stable throughout. The setup is simple and quick. Everything adjusts smoothly, and the stand feels premium in every way. It’s not exactly lightweight, but that’s to be expected with something this solid. Honestly, for how thick and sturdy it looks, I was surprised it’s not heavier. It’s still portable enough to carry around when needed. Just keep in mind this isn’t one of those flimsy plastic tripods. It’s built like professional gear. For me, it’s absolutely worth it. There’s only one small thing to be aware of. If you plan to mount heavier equipment, like a large camera or light modifier, you’ll need to add some counterweight. The price of this stand was intimidating at first since I've never spent this much on a stand but it is very sturdy and can handle whatever you mount on it. Currently I have a GODOX SL-60W light mounted on it with a NEEWER 35.4" Octagonal Softbox attached. The stand is pretty tall, heavy and stable with all attachments. Read more
