I’ve had this device for over a month now and it has not disappointed. The screen was easy to setup and has been running smoothly without any issues. The screen is crisp and clear and boots up / connects to my phone once I enter the car seamlessly. I haven’t had to do any resets or changes like some other devices that freeze up periodically. It was tough to decide with sooooo many similar devices and companies out there but am extremely happy with this purchase. This device was something I have wanted for a few years but my car (older bmw-2016) was not car-play compatible and needed to have adapters/kits installed (about $300) just to have access to “wired” carplay. This product “fixed” all of that along with being wireless at a fraction of the cost and looks amazing too without the hassle. I rarely ever write reviews but wanted to help those who aren’t sure to try this one!! In addition, customer service has been great as well as very responsive. Great product! Easy to install if you do your research on YouTube. It works just like an OEM installation. Even better than with older built-in models because your phone can connect to this one via bluetooth, no cable needed. I really only had three points to critique. (1) The instruction pamphlet is really pretty crappy. (2) The backup camera should have a wider angle so you can see somewhat to the left and right of the vehicle (3) In warm weather, the adhesive fails if you don't physically disconnect the unit from the holder. Literal best bang for your buck. I can’t find any better for cheaper. The touchscreen works great, and does all it needs to, it’s not super smooth when you’re scrolling but when it comes to gps like apple maps it works incredibly smooth; that goes for all apps you use on it. The screen size in my opinion is perfect, not too big but not too small, everything is in view. Its very accurate when it comes to routes, I assume it’s obviously using your phone but since carplay and android auto are more standalone and an extension of your phone itself it does its job on its side well. I really like that it has multiple ways to actually connect to your vehicle, whether it be USB or AUX, or even bluetooth, they all work well. It connects to your phone almost instantly when you turn your vehicle on so you don’t have to go back and forth pairing and unpairing, makes everything seamless and really ties it in. Honestly for the price, I have zero complaints because it does exactly what I need it to do. CarPlay works flawlessly. I will say this though. To anyone using AUX to connect to audio, just don’t. It’s got a scratching sound and the bass didn’t translate over. But using the FM transmitter works amazingly. Other than that, the device is very responsive and the screen clarity and quality is amazing. The installation was easy enough and took seconds once it was plugged in. For anyone with a CD player in their car, I highly recommend getting a CD player mounting bracket because it looks way better and doesn’t obstruct your view when driving. I recently purchased the wireless portable CarPlay/Android Auto screen, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The device works perfectly — setup was simple, the connection is fast, and the screen quality is very clear. It made my older car feel brand new! I’ve been using this for about a week now and I’m relatively happy with it. I love the size of the screen and the quality is pretty decent. Phone connectivity with an iPhone 15 pro promax is shockingly fast and easy right out of the box. The touch screen is fast and responsive too. The only issue I have (and reason for 4 stars) is sometimes the directions on Waze lag for a few seconds at what have been pretty critical points on the route. It doesn’t happen all of the time but has happened enough for me to notice and be bothered by. Not really sure what the cause is and I haven’t experienced this with another vehicle I have that has Apple CarPlay connectivity integrated into the MMI. It’s not annoying enough for me to stop using it but really just makes me pay extra close attention to make sure it’s continuing to move fluidly. Read more

I bought this item 1 month and it does very well. It doesn't lag, runs smoothly, and is very suitable for older cars that don't have CarPlay or Android Auto. It's bigger than a phone and much more convenient. Read more
