The first bead is blunt and soft though, so it does compress quite a bit when pushed. Due to the large size, prior preparation and some patience are needed. The XL version is a monster and much bigger than I expected. The individual beads are huge, yet also compressible and slightly stretchy for easier use. This is really more of a tool for extreme stretching than an adult toy. The wide base makes for a very strong suction cup. The edges are thin which makes it hard to remove once it is stuck in place. It almost needs a pull tab molded in to help lift the edge. The base does slide easily though. Although this makes it possible to slide the base to an area that breaks the suction, it also makes this heavy dildo difficult to use on vertical surfaces since it tends to slide downward during use. I find it best to use the beads on a horizontal seat. I like the almost neon pink-to-purple colors and fun shape. They make the beads look less like an adult toy. Ordered and received the XL, which is just over 8" insertable and just over 2-3/4 inches diameter at the widest bead at the base. This is not the girthiest item I have tried--not even close--but this does offer a very compelling fill and a graduated fill that helps you build up to wider. I think pretty much any normal person using this on the back end would find it filling and nice. I would say this is not for beginners, but more for more advanced moderates who wanna give bigger/thicker a shot. I think they'll be very pleased. I definitely have been. The suction cup works very well, and the material is bright and colorful, well-molded, and easy to clean. The shape is also great, of course. The listed price at the time I ordered this was $21. At the time of writing this review, it's listed at $20 (5% off). For the fill alone, this is well worth it at either price. As a trainer item, too, I would say this is well worth it. So far I'm super happy with this product. It progresses in diameter at a perfect rate to gently increase the size over time with each ball being just enough larger to make a difference, not too large that it's very uncomfortable and flared enough that it won't move in or out without your doing so. The colors are pretty cool and I'm a sucker for anything with suction cup. Well made, seems like high quality silicone. It’s soft in a good way, it gives as one would wish for comfort, but it’s firm too. You’ll feel filled, and the firmness is good for entry and exit purposes. The graduation of thickness is gentle, it’s an expansion sensation, not a “getting over the hump” kind of thing. We ordered large and I think it will work well for those with average experience with these toys, but it’s hard to predict fit (no pun intended). Overall, a first rate product and a very good value. So i got the small size, but this was actually bigger than I was honestly expecting. What I wasn't a super big fan of was that it felt kind of sticky compared to some of the other products I've used in the past. I don't know if that is a bad sign of this type of material or what. It is a little softer than some standard silicone molds I've had which made getting it to fit honestly a little easier. Available in a variety of sizes (S / M / L / XL). We ordered the small, in part because there's such a thing as too big. So, this guy is rad. It's a bright iridescent pinkish-purple at the tip, and a deep rich purple at the base. I'd say a medium firmness - bendy and a little squishy, but sags very little if attached to a vertical surface. The suction cup is secure and won't easily dislodge from a clean, flat surface. In practice, the graduated spherical knobs are quite noticeable. And the overall size is plenty big enough for me.
