So worth the money!! my poor daughter‘s laptop died and she was unable to watch Old home movies so I bought this on a whim until we can get her a new laptop. I can’t really comment on the battery life because she does fall asleep watching the movies, but I know it’s still playing a couple hours after she goes to bed before I do. She can take it anywhere with her and she can use her headphones, Bluetooth or wired. She suffered an extreme trauma and the home movies really help her heal from the past. As others are sure to agree, taking long car rides with children can be... patience taxing. This has served twice now to break up the boredom and monotony or trips for out little one. Where before they would struggle to entertain themselves for a few hours (i.e. Doing everything in their power to make me question my sanity), this has served so far as a good distraction. Simple operation or put the disc in and press play. Picture quality is decent. There have been a couple of discs that wouldn't play overly well, but from what I could tell it was likely due to being meant for HDR playback. For the most part, no issues as far as playback. Does come with built in speakers that serve their purpose okay, but thankfully has a 3.5mm or 1/8 inch jack for wired headphones. Also has Bluetooth built in for wireless speaker or headset, which we haven't tested with as of yet. The included remote works fine as well, but so far we've been using the buttons on the player more since this is more being used sitting in someone's lap. The only thing I'd be concerned for long term would be the swivel adjustment of the screen. So far its been sturdy and has full range of rotation, but I'd worry about longevity if its moved too much. Battery life is good as well, with about 3-4 hours from our use from a full charge. Definitely long enough for most movies, though some longer directors' cuts films may not be able to be finished (looking at you, Snyder's cut of Justice league). All in all, if you need a small, all-in-one player, this is worth consideration. Read more

Yes it works. I got it because I like to go camping and watch a scarey movie or a fun movie so I bring a few dvds for the family to watch at night in the tent. I like that it holds the charge for 2 movies. It also has a spot to put a flash drive and see pictures just to click through them. It's really easy to work we didn't need anything but the charge cord and all set but it comes with extra stuff like a remote and other wires for like playing a video game or headphones it played my karaoke cd too. I have returned two for malfunctioning, now this 3d one is cutting off at middle of the recorded disc. It is a waste of my time and money returning these , I no longer want any of these, they do not work for long. Read more
