This is advertised as being a peppermint flavor and most reviewers are saying it is, but the tube I got has zero peppermint taste. It has a light bubblegum flavor at best and that's barely noticeable. Now I may have received a bad tube but that makes me question how well the rest of the ingredients are added. If this is something I am going to be putting in my mouth I would like to be sure it is made correctly. One reviewer said theirs was so runny it ran off the toothbrush but mine is a very thick paste. All of this makes me worry about the quality control a bit and at $9 a pop, it should be better than this. Again, maybe I just got a bad tube but if there are bad tubes going out, I don't think I want to use it because no matter what you do, you are going to be swallowing some of this and that scares me. Good cleaning toothpaste so far. It cleans my teeth squeaky clean every day. Not sure about the claim of teeth whitening and enamel repairing, but the minty flavor is very nice. The ingredients seems to be very nice. It is very easy to use and makes me feel good about brushing everyday. However, it is quite expensive for toothpaste. I request these NON-FLOURIDE toothpastes for that exact reason. There is more and more data coming out about how DANGEROUS fluoride is, especially to the developing BRAINS of our children. That reason alone should have every single parent dumping traditional, fluoride toothpastes. The way I understand it, yes, fluoride strengthens your teeth, AND it also makes them brittle, causing tooth breakage. Hydroxyapatite toothpaste is supposed to strengthen your teeth without making them brittle. I have tried the little tablets, and prefer the paste instead, and a higher percentage of the hydroxyapatite. Here's my experience, these types of toothpaste have a very mild and pleasant mint flavor. They do not cause any burning of my lips from the foam. They do not cause the linings of my cheeks to erode and come off in sheets(yeah, pretty gross). And, my teeth just feel clean. I will never again use a fluoride toothpaste. Read more
