While, I prefer using body care and make up products with fewer ingredients- when it comes to household cleaning products I will generally use what gets the job done and quickest and most efficiently. I’ve always used dawn dish soap for my dishes. However, over the past two years, our dishwasher and sink dishes have developed a fishy odor. We have had the water company come out and check the water twice. We can’t figure out what’s causing the fishy odor. We’ve been through three new dishwashers a new hot water heater, and we’ve even gotten a water filtration system that is a ginormous three filter system. We did everything but replace the pipes in the wall and the pipes running from the mainline in the yard, still fishy 😣. The dishwasher gets plastic items, clean and odorless, but any silverware, glassware, anything metal will smell terrible of fish when it’s washing the dishwasher. So we have resulted to hand washing those particular items in the sink only to find that the additional efforts lead to fishy smelling things about 85% of the time still. So I have been on a hunt for new dish soap that I can hand wash the dishes with that will not leave the dishes smelling rank. This is the only dish soap that I have found that has helped with that! It has a mild lemon scent and I don’t know what it is about it but at the very least nothing smells fishy when it is hand wash with this soap . After using this product, and having the success that we’ve had with it - if I didn’t have this fishy odor, I would probably still use it because it has been so good under these circumstances I would continue to order it even if I moved and had a house that didn’t have fishy water- lol. I really like the smell and it makes pretty good suds for being a non toxic dish soap. I usually don't have great luck finding a natural soap that makes a good suds and have to put soap on the sponge several times for a small load of dishes - this isn't bad at all Read more

Even though it's the best working dish liquid out there, and trust me, after fifty years of dishes I know my cleaning stuff- it's just not cost effective. Does it work? Heck, yeah! Is it worth the price? My meager budget says no. Read more
