Bought this for my daughter so she can prepare quick meals (currently a college student). We've made a few things, mostly lentil stews using various asian curries (red Thai, yellow Indian curry powder, etc.) with coconut milk. Very pleased with the results, the speed with which meals can be prepared, and impressed with the durability. And it's a one pot wonder - we start with the saute mode to soften onions, brown garlic, toast ginger and bloom spices, then add liquid and lentils and BAM!, you have an excellent meal with leftovers - if it survives the first sitting - ha ha. And the internal pot is stainless (ie no teflon/non-stick to fret over). Clean up is a breeze with a short soak and Bar Keepers Friend with a non-scratch scrubber. Highly recommend it for the price. OMG!!! THIS IS SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT!! I spent a bunch of $$ cause some clueless people kept telling me "OH you have to get Instant pot, it is the best!!! I HAVE NEVER HATED A PRODUCT AS I DID THAT THING!! I tried 6 times following exact directions and all it did was BURN AND RUIN FOOD!! FOOD IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO WASTE ON A TEMPERMENTAL AWFUL PRODUCT. I know many people like theirs but I have been electric pressure cooking since they first came out. THIS cooker, was DREAM to use and everything came out SO good . I sent the IP back and got THIS wonderful, easy to use, great cooker and after 1 use, I am NEVER looking back! I cooked chicken in chunks, sauted it, threw in some chopped vegetables & cooked it about 4 minutes I just cook for myself so I don't cook large amouts, but if you need a lg amt the 6 or 8 qt stainless steel pot works beautifully. It is easy to work with & learn and can use the dishwasher to clean! I LOVE this thing. After the disappointment of the Instapot I am glad I went ahead and tried this Carori cooker. I am going to get A LOT of use out of this! EASY to use and cooks perfectly! Read more

I used this last night And within 40 min my roast was done tender and oh so good. It’s small for a single person. So thank you. Read more
Works well. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Great size. However, we cooked meat and when it was done the meat was still tough. Read more
This pressure cooker is very good. I thought it would be a little bigger, but the important thing is that it does its job well. It's made of good material; I loved it. Read more
So far, so good. I appreciate the competitive price for the size of this 8 quart Carori pressure cooker. I feel like I got a lot for my money. I have used it three times so far. I was able to cook an entire value package of chicken breast (almost 5 pounds) at one time due to the 8 quart size. Nice. I could not do that with my air fryer. And it was so quick. I have several nights of precooking completely done. Read more
I only use these for making dog food. I had an insta-pot (name brand) prior but was open to finding a good deal-saving money. I tried this and although it was great looking-loved the black!-and easy-to-use, plus they send you all the extras- rice spoon, inner tray--it did not work even 1/3 as good as my insta-pot. I cook bones-steak, chicken, ham and rib bones. My insta pot took 3 hours to turn them into crumble. I tried for 7.5 hours, yes 7.5!! And they still were not crumbly and some of the rib eyes were still too hard to even break with my hands. Let me circle back for one minute, I also found out it only allowed you to choose up to 1 hour and 30 minutes cooking time. So I had to keep starting it over. I thought maybe it was the wattage, this one is 1200 but I checked and so was my insta-pot. Perhaps I received a defective one?! Who knows. All I know is that it appeared to not be able to pressure cook the bones. Returning and buying an insta-pot! Read more
