My dad just turned 90 & I bought him this cap for his birthday. He absolutely LOVED it!! He loves the color purple & was so happy with it. It was the perfect gift for my sweet daddy. However, he has dementia and first day out, he laid it on a park bench & left it. We scoured the park & called park staff but no luck. I’m so sad. Back to the review…the cap, as I said, is extremely good quality. Feel and comfort are spot on. I will say the cap is a bit large and we had to adjust it way down to fit his head. I got this to include in gifts for my 90 year old father's birthday, and he loved it. The material is nice and comfortable, soft and not scratchy, but with a good sturdy brim. Color is accurate and the design is stitched in and should last a long time. This hat has both good and meh parts. It's quite thin, I would say too thin, to the point it can't keep a shape and will flop over. It doesn't matter too much when you're wearing it, but does make it harder to get a good form. The front is neatly stitched though, and really stitched, not a printed or ink imitation. This arrived in a simple zip lock bag and was in perfect shape. I was surprised about this hat. It feels soft in your hand and all the writing is stitched, not printed. This means it will be comfortable to wear and should last a good long while. The adjusting clasp on the back is metal and easy to use, and would fit most all head sizes. This hat looks great. It's got that "aged fabric" look, even though the fabric is new, which I like. The closure at the back is a belt closure without a tail, which is great! Nothing hanging in back for people with small heads. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this hat is actually embroidered, not just screen printed on. It looks and feels like good quality.
