Where do I begin? 1.) the case is so nice. It has a very smooth mechanism for opening (just push the top a little and it unlatches), it feels exactly like a MacBook, and is surprisingly light for its size 2.) It comes with SO MANY BITS, and they're all magnetic in the case for easy insert/removal 3.) The light is honestly almost bright enough to be a standalone flashlight, and I don't have to tell you how awkward it is trying to hold a phone light in a computer while you're hitting that last mobo screw. Also the light is a ring light around the bit, so the screwdriver itself won't cast a shadow. 4.) It makes a very subtle but satisfying dental drill sound 5.) While it certainly turns, it's gentle enough that there is absolutely 0 danger of overtightening. This is what had me skeptical at first, but it's fine. I usually don't write reviews, but this absolutely deserves the attention. Every household needs one of these! The metal casing is definitely sturdy. A nice weight to the entire set. I wanted to love this screwdriver set. I have already returned two others. One was missing any kind of case for all the parts and the other was lacking any kind of light. This unit meets both those needs. Positives: The included metal case is excellent. It features a spring loaded ejection mechanism, magnetically attached accessory slots, and a place for 90% of what they give you. The screwdriver itself is decent. The advertised features are all present. The light can be triggered permanently or just when the device is actively rotating. The driver uses USB C to charge and does so very quickly. The driver is very light in the hand but I think that’s for negative reasons mentioned below… Negatives: I say the driver is decent though because the torque is very weak. If you encounter screws in metal, chances are it will not have enough power to even start removing the screw. I was very disappointed when the driver started to activate on its own when attempting to use it without power. Another reviewer said it would lock to be used manually, but that lock is very weak too, and the driver started slipping. When it slips, it becomes worthless as a tool. Usually, after slipping, the driver will turn on unexpectedly, creating new problems. In addition, the magnetized I received does not work. I tried it on ALL of the tips provided and not one of them can hold a screw up. They have mild magnetism, but it’s not enough to help in any scenario. Lastly, they give you a nicely designed case, with nearly all pieces held within it….but not all! I was supremely annoyed to find that nearly all of the most important accessories, (spudgers, suction cup, ESD stick, etc) HAVE NO PLACE IN THE CASE. How lazy is that?? So now I’ve got a tool set with a case that doesn’t even fit the tools it came with!! Absurd. TL:DR: The case doesn’t hold the very tools they sell you. The driver is too weak to remove screws commonly found in computers, laptops, amplifiers, etc. The driver does not truly lock, as the lock is weak. I've been using this screwdriver for quite awhile now and am always impressed at how well it performs. I use it to assemble small projects that I print on my 3d printer, and it has held up quite well. On projects where the screws become too tight for the screwdriver to drive them in, I use it as a manual screwdriver by pushing the power button and manually driving the screw, and this gives me a ratcheting effect. The screwdriver is lightweight , but very reliable, and there are plenty of bits for just about any small job. Read more
I bought a much cheaper version of one of these off aliexpress, and although that one didn't work well, it showed me the importance and usability of one of these. This is definitely a much higher quality than I had. You can feel it by the weight, the buttons, and even the super nice case it comes with foe extra bits! Don't expect this to drive in screws to a 2x4 for you, but this easily works on small electronic devices and little trim pieces on my car. Read more
