Good looking, sturdy and great sounding mp3 player
This mp3 player is very sturdy, smaller than I thought but well made. The barrel shaped volume control adds to the quality and is very effective. The sound quality is very good whether used with corded headphones or over bluetooth. It supports flac as well as mp3. However, there are some compatibility issues with flac files; it would not play a few of my flac files even though they played fine elsewhere. It would also not read the metadata like album and track from the standard flac tags and I had to edit all my flac files to include id3 tags, which is non-standard. Although the barrel shaped control works well to control the volume it does not allow you to step through the albums or tracks so you have to use the touch screen for that, which is quite fiddly on such a small screen. The physical controls allow you to pause, skips tracks and go back in the menus but they only work when the screen is on so you have to press a key to show the screen before they work I bought this mp3 player to listen to music without distrctions from my phone and it works great for that. The radio works well too but most of the extra features like ebook reader, really just a text document reader, and step counting are not that good. I think a software update could make this even better but it does its core function of playing music well. Read more
