This phone holder is solid, it has a very strong hold to the cart and the phone. Easy to adjust the viewing angles to better see the map and even taking selfies. The magsafe side is much stronger than all my other magsafe accesories. Easy to use and remove before leaving the course. This is made of all metal, very solid. This product was exactly what I was looking for. It has a strong magnet (contrary to some reviews) and holds my phone to the golf cart securely. I go over many bumps and the phone stays attached. Make sure your phone case is MagSafe and the metal ring doesn’t flip down but is built into the case. I had to buy another case because the kick stand ring would flip down over bumps. We recently tested the Golf Cart MagSafe phone holder on a golf course with some particularly bumpy cart paths. On the positive side, the magnet that attaches to the golf cart itself is impressively strong. It feels so secure that I wouldn’t worry about it detaching from any metal surface. However, the MagSafe magnet that holds your phone wasn’t as strong as I had hoped. The holder comes with an adhesive MagSafe ring, which does improve the magnetic attachment, but for those already using a MagSafe case, adding another ring might not be ideal. On a well-maintained course with smooth, paved paths, the A2C Magnetic Phone Holder works well, and I would recommend it. With a MagSafe case, it provides a fairly reliable hold. However, on courses with rough terrain, gravel paths, or bumpy bridges, I’d hesitate to use it. While we didn’t lose a phone or have any drops during our test, it didn’t feel secure enough. Driving over slopes and uneven surfaces made me keep a constant eye on the phone, just in case it came loose. For context, we own another MagSafe phone holder with a much stronger phone-side magnet, which highlighted this model’s limitations. I’d consider using this holder more at home, such as attaching it to a fridge while cooking. Otherwise, I’d limit its use to smoother, well-maintained golf courses. Read more
