Love the value of this purchase. Can’t go wrong with this brand ! I had never seen these before my order and I was skeptical about the longevity of them. My sons use a ton of batteries for game controllers so I was hopeful I wasn’t just wasting money on a battery that would die mid gun fight and have my boys rage quit lol These are great like all Duracell batteries and I am super pleased with them! I would for sure recommend these and feel comfortable saying they will last as long as any other Duracell I have purchased before. Great price for the quantity and quality ! Read more

Best decision I made on the subject was to buy AA and AAA batteries by the case. Seriously. The difference between a professional and an amateur is preparedness. The mark of an amateur is when the batteries die on a mic or belt pack during a live show. The rule here is: Regardless of the hours on a set of batteries, every belt pack or hand-held mic gets a fresh set of batts before EVERY show. You cannot afford to do this when you're buying your batts at the local CVS. Unspent batteries are saved and used up in less 'mission-critical' applications like radios, clocks, etc. so nothing goes to waste. Buy the batts in bulk, and the cost per battery makes good business sense. Read more

I suppose it may sound crazy to some to buy 144 AA batteries at once, but considering the number of devices that use AA batteries, and the cost savings achieved when buying in bulk, it makes good sense to me. I'd never used the Procell line from Duracell before, but trusted the Duracell name enough to go through with this purchase. I've not been disappointed. The 144 batteries are packaged in 6 larger boxes, which themselves contain 6 4-packs of batteries each. Everything is packaged in cardboard and is easy to open; no frustrating plastic clam-shell packaging here. As for performance, I've not done any scientific studies to gather metrics, but my gut feeling is that the Procell's are on par with your name brand batteries purchased at a brick and mortar. I go through a lot of batteries during hunting season in my 2xAA LED flashlight, which is rated to run for 1 hour at its maximum brightness. The Procell's achieve this, and again, the longevity of the batteries when used in this flashlight is equivalent to other name brand batteries. Overall, I'd have no reservations recommending these batteries to anyone who goes through a lot of AA batteries, or anyone just looking to save a little money by buying in bulk. Read more

These are genuine Duracell. Each cell has a laser etched batch number. Be aware that the new cells are gray, the box is gray, and they are packaged 24 cells to a box. Procells are marketed with a 7 year shelf life, as opposed to 10 years for the consumer labelled cells. Mine were about 11 months old when I received them, so they have a date of March 2026. No big deal, they will be used far before that time. I tested each cell because I'm a nerd, and they all measured withing plus/minus 1 mV, and there were no dead cells in my batch of 144. Read more

The ProCell battery has a somewhat unique power draw. It starts at a slightly higher voltage for a bit then drops rapidly to a low voltage. I believe this fools some equipment into thinking the batteries need to be replaced. For instance, in an Xbox controller I was able to use them for 6 weeks after getting a replace battery warning. Similar instances with other equipment has occurred. Read more

I don't know anything about batteries other than you put them in your electronics, and suddenly the dead devices start to work again. Other than that, I have no idea why these are called "procell". With that being said, I used to buy these for my XBox controllers. (I only stopped because I got the play and charge kit.) They seemed to last longer than your standard off-brand batteries, but the price per battery is what I love about these. You get name brand batteries for about 33 cents each. Compare that to paying about $1 each. And then factor in (if you do what I did) buying 144 batteries every 6 months or so. Very cost effective. I've never seen any dead batteries in these packs. They come in their own box, which contains several boxes with the batteries in them. So no having to fish around for a single battery when the box gets low. And since AA batteries seem to be THE most common battery type, it was great if my TV remote died (not great, but great that I had these) or something else that took AAs. Read more

Excellent batteries. I read some reviews that they were "fake" but I haven't found that to be true at all. The batteries arrive in packaging different than at the store, but aside form that these are Duracell batteries that work great & last! And you can't beat the price, especially with free shipping. We go through batteries here like crazy so I can't resist the bulk pricing. Read more

I received 144 Batteries in mid-December 2014! Great Packaging! - I like the fact that these batteries come four to a small thin cardboard box, and are easy to grab-and-go. There are six of these smaller boxes in one larger box (quantity:24), and there are six of these larger boxes packed inside of an even larger cardboard box! There are no difficult-to-open, finger-slicing, plastic clamshells to wrestle with! - Yahoo! Amen! Hallelujah! The batteries are of good quality. I mainly use them in computer mice and LED flashlights. They seems to be as good as the other commercially advertised battery brands, at a lesser cost. And did I mention that there are no difficult-to-open, finger-slicing, plastic clamshells to wrestle with? Ahhhhh! Read more
