I didn't use the hanging kit that came with it. It has 4 metal teeth hooks on like a picture frame so can hang horizontal or vertical. I just used little nails so can take it off easily and hang somewhere else. When I replace my big mirror I'll hang this one in an extra bedroom. Mine is the smallest size with black wood frame.
