Did come a little bent at the end but we just mallet-ed it a bit and it fit flush against the wall after and no issues so far! It is very easy to install, and it has held up well to regular use. However, I would recommend that if you want to mount this shelf to hold your microwave, you will probably want to upgrade to better screws. The screws that are included are not strong enough nor are they long enough to securely hold over 40 lbs of weight on the shelf. After quite a bit of thought, I have deducted 2 stars from my review because, while I do like the shelf and the versatility of it, I do think it is a serious oversight and error to not include proper mounting hardware for the shelf, especially knowing that it is designed to hold a heavy appliance like a microwave. But, because of this, I feel this is better used as a shelf to add additional storage above a microwave or other appliance. If this is corrected or changed, I will happily update. Read more
