This adriondack chair cushion for the patio added comfort to our outdoor seating. I’m really pleased with the black color which looks sleek and modern, blending in beautifully with our patio decor. The cushion is thick and supportive, and it definitely makes a noticeable difference when lounging outside for longer periods. One of the best features is the non-slip ties—they keep the cushion firmly in place, even on breezy days. The waterproof and fade-resistant fabric has held up well through a couple of light rains and several sunny afternoons without showing signs of wear. It’s also easy to wipe clean, which is a huge plus when dealing with outdoor furniture. the cushion could be just a bit longer to better fit the full length of a standard Adirondack chair. I've had this Adirondack chair on the patio for years, and while it’s built like a tank, it’s not exactly the softest seat in the house. Figured it was time to get a cushion for it. This black, high-back one seemed to fit the bill. Getting it out of the package, the thickness was the first thing I noticed. It’s got some decent padding, which makes a big difference when you’re settling in. The fabric feels pretty tough too, which is good because out here, stuff takes a beating from the sun and the occasional rain shower. It says it's waterproof and fade-resistant, and time will tell on that, but it looks like it can handle the elements. The ties on it are a good feature; I was able to secure it to the chair without any fuss, and it stays put, no sliding around when I sit down or get up. That’s a definite plus. As far as dislikes, I can't say I have any right now. It’s black, so it’s going to get warm in direct sun, but that’s just the nature of a dark color. It does what it's supposed to do – makes a hard chair comfortable. Why a five-star rating? Well, it fits the chair perfectly, feels sturdy, the padding is substantial, and those non-slip ties really work. It made my old chair a heck of a lot more comfortable, and it looks good doing it. We got these cushions for a pair of Adirondack chairs a family member gifted us. They're older chairs, slightly smaller than many mass-produced, plastic Adi chairs. These cushions are a bit large for it, but they'll work fine. The material looks and feels decent, but as others have mentioned, the cushioning material isn't all that substantial. Indeed, still better than sitting on a bare chair. I expect the filling is simple polyester batting stuffed in as tight as possible. For the money, these are about as good as any similar patio/outdoor furniture cushions you'll likely find at the big box stores. This fit my adirondack rocking chair really well. It has ties at the bottom to keep it in place on the chair, and a strap across the back to make sure the top stays in place. The strap at the top could probably be a little tighter, because after a while it does start to slouch a bit. It's comfortable to sit in and it looks great on the chair. It's pretty lightweight so you could easily transport it from your house to a cabin to a campsite if you wanted to. It feels nice and sturdy, as well, so it should last you a while. Read more
