This sling was picked by my orthopedic doctor for my fractured shoulder. While it was a bit more expensive than other slings, I will say it is very comfortable and easy to adjust and take on and off. I even sleep with it on. The arm pillow is attached to the sling with Velcro and is removable. The ball is attached to the pillow with Velcro and is also removable. This sling was originally written to my Fiance as a prescription and we could not find it anywhere! To top it all off, it was super expensive and had very long shipping times from any medical supply company we would find. This product was cheaper and faster than going through insurance. Quality has been great so far. He has had to use it daily for the past several months and will continue to have to use it for another year or so. It is easy enough for him to use alone with his left hand even though he is right handed and has zero function of his right hand and arm from the elbow down. It is quite adjustable and comfortable. This was reasonably priced, easy to adjust, and as comfortable as a sling can be. Rotator cuff surgery and the sling they sent me home with was flimsy and provided no support. The fabric inside the sling is very rough and abrasive. I do not recommend this product AT ALL. Have been wearing the sling about 24 hours and I think the scratchy fabric is close to making my knuckles bleed. Read more
