We have 2 dogs who love the convenience (as we do) of having an electronic doggie door so they can go out back whenever they want. This eliminates accidents during the night or if the pups are home alone while we are running errands or away from home. The collar fob requires a battery and these are the required size and model number, yet are more affordable than buying directly from the door manufacturer. We have used these batteries for our pet's High Tech MS-5 auto door electronic pet collar. We live where there are a lot of snakes, raccoons and other varmints and didn't want a Pet flipper door for fear an unwanted visitor, so we installed an electronic pet door from High Tech. I know High Tech says using batteries other than theirs can damage the collar transmitter for their doors. I was hesitant to try these, but I am happy I did. I am not sure that they last quite as long as the genuine version, but it isn't much different, and for the price I do not mind changing the battery more often. Read more

I use this in my dogs collar for auto doggie door…much cheaper and works great. I would say it last around a year…obviously it would depend on how much your dog goes in and out. I have a small dog and she uses it at 8-10 times a day. Read more
