This unit seems to compare very favorably with other units we have from well-known manufacturers. On first inspection, I was pleasantly surprised at the build quality of this unit. The plastic casing is nicely formed, sturdy, and feels well made. The latches, handles, switches, and other components feel sturdy and well-made. I really liked the cord keeper tabs formed into the area surrounding the inlet which makes wrapping the cord quick and easy. I would give this unit a really nice grade on design and features. Additional units can easily be stacked which allows for easier transport in our trucks and trailers. The size of this unit is a little smaller than some of the comparable units we have from other companies. This is a favorable finding as it means we can fit more equipment in our vans and trailers while providing the same degree of airflow. At 550 CFM this unit is more powerful than many on the market. Due to the smaller form factor, comparable power, and lower entry cost, utilizing this unit provides a quick return on investment. Looking at this machine economically, I can purchase 2 or 3 of these machines for the same cost as 1 machine from another brand and it does the same thing as well or better. Replacement filters can easily be found online at Amazon and are currently about one-third of the price of replacement HEPA filters from other companies. So continued use of this machine will be much cheaper in the long run which means more profit per machine for a restoration company like mine. I really like the ease with which this unit can be opened, inspected, cleaned, and filters changed. This unit comes with a prefilter, HEPA filter, and charcoal filter. The prefilter is kept in place with its own tabs which is a nice feature. The inlet has a removable cover for trapping filtered particles in the machine prior to movement or breaking down containment. The controls are right on top of the unit and are easy to understand and control. There is a variable speed control knob which allows easy speed control. There is a GFI-protected outlet embedded within the control panel for piggybacking additional fans and equipment. In operations, this unit has proven to be powerful and yet surprisingly quiet. I honestly have not had any complaints from homeowners as to the noise level of this machine. Many of my regular air movers are noisier. Frequently homeowners will turn off machines that are noisy if the noise is bothering them. I am seeing fewer shut-offs by homeowners with this unit. This unit is quickly gaining favorability with my technicians as it is lighter to transport, easier to carry and reliable. We have had no machine failures as of yet. Read more

These units work phenomenally well. Noise level is loud but that’s to be expected because they move some serious air! Dust and particle removal is outstanding. No smells, nothing. Quality and durability is top notch. Very important - Absolutely amazing customer service. I had an issue with a unit - I reached out after a few weeks and the company not only was fast to respond and assist, but handled the issue professionally and quickly, which included equipment replacement(s) free of charge. These are big units - shipping has to be expensive. They did it with NO question, no argument - simply outstanding customer service that is rare these days. This moves some serious air. I lay mine flat so it pulls air from the ground up and blows it out at floor level and that seems to provide the best circulation. It has come in handy many times and works well. I like how powerful it is for sealed spaces too and use it to circulate air from outside. Airing a place out was never so easy. I took a star for the unpleasant 'grease lubricant' odor when turned on while the unit was running for the first few times. It eventually dissipated and now the air is clean. Also, it is louder than I expected. It's okay on low, but on high it's pretty loud like being in an airplane with the engines roaring, so it's best to use on low if occupying the space during use. The media could not be loaded. I finally got one of this kind of filter. I love it, my client always complains that the room smell. With this filter, I can filter out the smell. It comes with two filters, the machine is big like a windows AC unit, weighing like 45 LB. Very easy to open to replacement filter. Highly recommended for DIY project. Read more

Worked great the first couple of times using it. Then out of nowhere I was using it and it just died. It did work well while it was working. I’m hoping it’s an easy fix or I can exchange it for a new one. Read more

I thought when I purchased this item that it was a bit smaller. It is pretty large. We have tried many air purifiers and they did not work well. We had construction done to the house 3 times and after the first demolition I purchased this to help with the dust. It did the job. The filters are a bit pricey but worth the money. We use it when the house hasn't been open for awhile to get the musty smell out. It can get very loud if you have it on high...low is tolerable and eventually is like white noise. Read more

Renting an air scrubber cost $65 a day so we bought one. It has been running almost every day for a 4 months. Even after fire remediation, repainting…, it is still collecting black soot. Smoke damage is insidious! even mild smoke damage is a disaster, Fires are no joke there are 8 condominiums in our building and all of us had smoke damage from the fire in 1 unit. It is awful and I feel for anyone who has ever had a fire. This air scrubber is a rockstar and we highly recommend it if you have fire, water or any other odor issues.
