I'm at the start of my fitness and weight loss journey, so having a scale that measures not just weight, but body fat and other metrics is really helpful to give me a variety of data that I can use to track my progress. Weight isn't the only, or even the best, metric to use when trying to track fitness goals, so other metrics are useful too. The scale itself looks great and is easy to set up. It comes with batteries already installed, so all you have to do is take it out of the box, scan the QR code to install the Fitdays app, and then connect the scale to your phone. All told, it takes five minutes or less to get it up and running. The display is bright and colorful, and works quickly to provide your stats. It takes a minute (maybe less) for the stats to sync to your phone, and it displays your body fat metrics on a diagram of a human body. I will say that this part (the blue screenshot in my review) confused me, as it doesn't provide any tool tips to fully explain what you're looking at. That said if you go to the "Report" section of the app, it shows a more detailed report of your results, which provides more context and makes it easier to understand (as seen in the white screenshot). My results show I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I'm excited to take it on! The Fitdays app is great and provides a ton of data. I'm really interested to see how my results change over time. That said, I do think that the scale and app can be overwhelming, especially to a relative beginner like me. It's a lot of data to work with, and someone who is just starting a weight loss journey might find it daunting. So this scale may make more sense for someone who is already further along on a fitness journey and is specifically looking for more data to help track their progress. My only quibble with this scale is that I don't love the retractable handle. You have to stand just right to make sure it's working properly. The retractable part can also be kind of finicky to pull out and put back in. I worry a little bit about the longevity of the handle, as repeatedly having to pull the cord around may make it more likely to break. Overall, though, I think the scale is good quality, the app works great, and it's easy to use. The price point is high, though, so I think I'd recommend it only for people who can make the most use out of the data it provides. For a beginner, I'd look at one of the more simple and affordable scales that this brand provides! Read more

This digital bathroom scale has been a game-changer for tracking my weight at home! Right out of the box it looks sleek and modern—fits perfectly in my bathroom and doesn’t take up much space. The large LCD display is super easy to read, even in low light. The readings have been consistently accurate compared to my gym scale, and it stabilizes quickly so I don’t have to wait forever. I also love how it automatically turns on when you step on it and turns off to save battery. The tempered glass surface feels sturdy underfoot and cleans easily. If you want a reliable and attractive scale that gives accurate results every time, this is definitely worth buying! Read more

My spouse and I are in our early 30's, and have gone through a few bouts of intense, regular exercise curtailed by intense seasons of sedentary couchlock (some people call this "nesting"; but we have called it, on occasion, "busy life seasons"). I mention this here because we are both people who find ourselves health conscious and more than a tad obsessed with our health metrics. I enjoy looking at how my diet and exercise regimens equate to things like resting heart rate, waist size, muscle mass, BMI (this one is lower on the list), and even sleep hygiene and mental health. This scale is quite intense—appearing a few steps above what we're used to seeing on scales. The most similar kind of scale I've seen of this variety was at the gym (InShape, for any California gymrats), wherein you get your metrics detailed in an effort for the trainers to better sell you on specific one-on-one sessions or gym memberships. First thing's first: YOU MUST READ THE MANUAL. This is not a simple or straight-forward scale. That is not to say that it takes a great deal of effort to use regularly; just that there are so many small details and nuances to what this scale tracks, that it's easy to miss a lot unless you get an understanding of the scale's usages. There is an app (which itself seems slightly finicky and can use some more forgiving UI features, but is perfectly passable for the average user). My wife is in medicine and especially likes the multi-step health reports one can use to get a clear, comprehensive picture of one's overall standing as it pertains to things like "visceral fat" and "muscle mass" and specific changes between one "weight-in" and another. The user profiles also prove useful, although not a necessity to use the scale passively (just like the app is an option, not a need). We are a household of two, but the two profiles keep track of our independent goals/changes, and permit us to track what is and isn't working. All in all: this is a marvelous tool, but could do with a bit more simplicity as it regards visual noise and overall design. The "bar" is a unique design facet that you will get from very few standard scales on the market. If you, like us, are health nuts with occasionally fluctuating weight; I believe you'll fit with this product like a fine glove. Otherwise, there may be more bells and whistles than the average person might need. Ultimately a win. Will update if I receive any information from a secondary source pertaining to the accuracy of the readings. Read more

I’ve had no issues at all with this ABLEGRID digital bathroom scale. It’s easy to use, feels sturdy, and provides clear readings. The large platform and handle make it comfortable and stable when weighing. The body analysis features are a nice bonus, and the display is easy to read. Everything works smoothly and consistently. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable scale that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. 5 stars from me. Read more
