These palazzo pants are great. They are very versatile and can easily be dressed up with a pretty top for a night out or worn to the beach. The fabric is lightweight and flowing, and so comfortable to wear. Despite the lightness, the fabric feels durable and not like it will tear or rip. And being 100% polyester, they shouldn't wrinkle much so will be great for travel. For me, as a petite person, they are very long and will need to be altered, but taller people will be able to wear them out of the package. With an elastic waist and a silver tipped drawstring, they can fit a someone whose weight fluctuates without worry about the fit. These fit well and are comfortable on. I’m not a big fan of the fabric, it feels more like nylon. The length was good, I need at least a 32 inch inseam, so that was nice. While the material isn't "cheap thin," as soon as the sun hits them, they become quite see-through. ​For the Beach: If you are wearing these over a swimsuit, you are totally good! ​For Everyday Wear: I would definitely advise wearing something underneath (like a slip or nude seamless shorts) because of the sheerness in the sunlight. My wife has a pair of palazzo pants similar to this pair but in linen. She wore that pair a lot during the past two summers, so much so that she wanted another pair. She likes the textured fabric, which makes them a bit dressier than the linen and appropriate for more occasions. She also likes the drawstring waistband and that the pants have pockets. However, she has issues with the fit. The size chart was a bit confusing, so she went with the standard "L=12-14". The pants fit around the waist but are tight across the hips. So much so that she will have to wear a longer shirt to cover that area. Also, the pants feel too short on her. I'm sure no one would notice but she feels self-conscious. She will wear these pants but wishes they fit better (she feels an XL would have been too big). Read more
