Stylish but overpriced - measure before you buy
These brown leather riding boots look great and feel solid… with a few “well that’s annoying” moments. They’re knee-length on me and the leather itself feels nice and sturdy. There’s padding around the shin, which is appreciated, and the rubber sole is slip-resistant and does its job. That said, there is zero padding on the foot, which feels like a weird design choice for boots at this price point. Also important PSA: if you have larger calves, measure carefully. I have bigger calves and barely got these zipped. One more thing: there’s a leather detail on the heel that rubs at the back of the ankle and can cause blisters. An insole plus some kind of ankle blister protection is basically mandatory unless you enjoy pain for fashion. Overall, they’re stylish and well-made, but for the comfort level and fit limitations, I think they’re priced too high. Nice boots… just not that nice. Read more
