I really like this brand jeans! They are flattering and comfortable. The waistband is wide enough to hold in my waist and not roll down. There is a little flare, so I would definitely call these boot cut, but it's not extreme. The regular size is a good length with a slight heel, like a wedge sandal or cowboy boot. I didn't need to alter the length at all (I'm 5'5".) I've bought 5 other pairs of Absolution jeans-that's how much I like them! Read more

I absolutely love these pants. They are soft, a bit stretchy, and very flattering. I am 5'4", weigh 150lbs and bought a size 10. They are the tiniest bit long, but not too bad. They fit great. I just bought a darker denim pair and a black pair, that's how much I like them. Read more

My colleague recommended these jeans and oh my goodness they are fantastic! I used to be a couple of sizes smaller but with age and motherhood have gained ‘several’ pounds and I find it extremely hard to find jeans that are comfortable, flattering and fit. Enter Democracy! These have a thick and lovely waist band that is comfortable and keeps the tummy parts pulled in! I dont think I will be wearing any other labels for a long time, it has literally been 8 years since I found a good pair of jeans that are flattering. I highly recommend this brand! Read more

These may be the most comfortable pair of jeans I have ever owned. The fit is perfect. The material is soft and a little lighter than many jeans. I love the higher waist, and they don’t start to sag as they day goes on like so many other pairs of jeans. This is my second pair of Democracy jeans, and I’m a fan! Read more

I wanted to love these as I have a couple other pairs of the Democracy Ab-Solution (a skinny and a retro flare). The length of the tall was just right at 5'8. I ordered my size 8 as that's what my others are in this brand. The material is soft and color of the wash great, but the waist seems oddly snug so it gives me the muffin top it is supposed to avoid. Another reviewer pointed this out as well, that she had other absolution jeans and even when she sized up the waist was super snug on these. But they fit great elsewhere. I even tried on my other pairs and the waist is snug, but doesn't push up and out like these. I thought about keeping them because maybe I can wear them during a different phase of my cycle, but frankly I don't want jeans I can only wear 1-2 weeks out of the month, so I am returning.
