Saw the idea from another sourdough baker to get a cake stand and my bread has never been happier! It keeps it from drying out and easily accessible, plus its pretty to look at. I have not used it as a dipping tray yet but love the options. I also like that it has an acrylic piece that goes on the base to keep moisture away from the wood. Buy ASAP if you do sourdough! The top is a clear, hard plastic the bottom rotates very well very elegant for displaying your cake once you ice in it I love it. You can put your cake on there and decorate it at the same time and leave it in there to display. Read more
