This mic stand phone holder is a great little piece of gear for musicians who take care of their equipment. It is mostly plastic except for a couple of pieces, but it feels fairly sturdy, is small enough to be easily storable, and attaches quickly and securely. I could see the plastic adjustment handle breaking if abused or over-tightened. One pro to the plastic construction is that it doesnβt weigh much. I have only used it twice so far, so I donβt know its long-term viability. ***UPDATE 12/13/20**** Still going strong after about a year of constant use. I still make sure to be careful with it, but it still works and looks like new after using it three to five times per week. The plastic concerns I mentioned before have turned out to be unfounded. It has given me zero trouble. Updated to five stars. Read more

I've been using this product frequently for a few months now. It's still in great shape and compared to a lot of the other phone holders I've seen other musicians use, it seems much more efficient - easy to attach and detach from your mic stand and the compact design makes it easy to fit into my instrument case. Definitely a phone holder I would recommend. Update: I've been using this phone holder for almost 4 years. I've bought this phone holder several times for myself, and a few other musicians now, and I haven't found a better one. I've had to get replacements maybe twice, but it's well worth it. The compact design fits well in my bass guitar case, and it's quick to attach to a mic stand. Just don't tighten it too much, or it may end up over rotating the screw, and it wont fit the mic stand securely. Read more

I bought 4 of these and keep one in my mic stand, the others are for other gigs where I don't have to bring my stand or spare ones just in case, very sturdy, practical and easy to use. Read more

Bought this to capture video with my iPhone 7 while playing drums. Kept a sturdy grip on the phone and attached fairly easily to the smallest telescoping arm of a boom mic stand. Other reviews mentioned that the clamp that attaches to the mic stand won't open much wider than it's advertised; I found that description to be 100% accurate. This perfectly did the job I needed it to at a good low price. Only gave 4/5 stars overall because it's made of very light plastic and feels like it would have snapped in half if I had overtightened the clamp. Read more

I use this all the time for lyrics and or chords when I perform or even just at practice. It has not fallen and have been sturdy and is very lightweight. I love it and if it broke I would buy this one again! Read more

I've gigged with this attached to the mic stand. Forgot to take it off - band mate picked up the stand to put it in the trailer. I thought for sure I'm buying a new one. Got back to our rehearsal space and no worse for the wear. This has to be one of the most impressive phone clips I've seen for microphone stands. If it breaks (and that's a BIG if) I will repurchase in a heartbeat - Gotta love that buy again button - but something tells me I won't be doing that for a very long time. Read more

I really liked this at first. It was very easy to put on an adjustable with any microphone stand. It was also very versatile, and you could adjust the position very well. I would say two months into using it, the clamp broke, and I wasnβt able to tighten it fully on the microphone stand. It still works, but it is not tight, I have no idea what the issue is and why it is like this now. Read more

My husband is a musician and likes to record his sets. We bought this for him to clip onto a stand and easily record videos with his phone. Works great! Grip is strong, easy to adjust. No complaints from him. Read more
