The color is perfect for these rugs. They are also very soft and plush. The only thing I noticed is that the striped pattern does not really show up in the real product like it did in the picture. OMG, taking this out of the packaging was such a treat for my fingers! lol It's soo soft I wished I'd bought a bigger one to curl up on. I bought 2 of these, the larger one for an offspring and smaller for myself. Mine seems to be well made and there's not any lent or stray threads hanging off anywhere or on the backing. The backing is nice and "grabby" so won't be sliding off my flooring. The larger one will be for in front of the tub and I'm sure will be perfect to keep things dry; mine I'll be using with my foot bath and it will be the perfect cozy surface to dry my feet, too.
