It is expandable and when expanded it still fits under a seat and very definitely in an overhead been. The colors are vibrant! It is super sturdy and snaps right over the handle of your suitcase if you take two bags. You can wipe it off with a damp cloth if you "smuck" it up. Easy to hoist into the overhead and the exact size. Rolls well, many hidden pockets, many outside pockets. Can't wait to use it again on my next trip.
