I ordered these pants because I have a few other pairs of velvet pants and I just love them during the cooler months. These are so soft and feel really comfortable. The pockets are ridiculous and definitely don't do anything for the look of the pants, especially if you have to actually use them for a phone or something, but they're comfortable enough for me to overlook that detail. I ordered an XXL which is my usual size and they fit quite nicely. They are long enough that even someone taller than me, at 5'3", could easily wear them. I love that they come in different colors, and may honestly have to get another color or two because they're so comfy. I would absolutely recommend these. They're pretty perfect. I ordered these pants based on the photos in the product description thinking that they would be good to wear out for dinner or casual holiday parties. The pants are nice and they are definitely comfortable but I believe them to be more for lounging than wearing out. Based on the size chart, I ordered size large and was pleased that they aren't too long for my 5'4" frame. The waistband has good structure and stretch. The pockets seem more of a style element than functional pockets because they are quite small but it does add some uniqueness to the pants. In short, these are good pants but they aren't as practical for wearing outside of the house as I had hoped and therefore, aren't a great value for lounge pants. Read more

These are lovely velour pants. They fit well and are both comfortable and flattering. The style is very casual with an elastic waist with drawstring, faux fly, two patch pockets, and bell bottoms. The fabric has some heft to it, but is still very soft. They seem well sewn. The pants held up very well in the wash. I turned them inside-out and washed on the gentle cycle using my usual detergent and cold water. After the first wash, there was quite a bit of lint in the dryer filter, but that's to be expected with this type of fabric. The only down-side to these are the pockets. They're on the front of the pants, which is fine, but they look a bit awkward. Read more

I am hosting Thanksgiving this year and I was looking for a dressy but comfortable pair of pants to wear with a tunic that day. I saw these and thought they would work. I was SO right! They look great, fit well and are fashionable and at the same time, they are comfortable, washable and I can just throw them and a top on and be good to go that day. Perfect hostess outfit! I got the XL in four leaf clover which is actually a bit closer to an olive than a straight green but which looks perfect for what I want them for. I will be using these as "hostess" pants for future entertaining as well because they fit so well and look so good! These pants are comfortable to wear; however, for being 5'3", these pants are not intended for me. 5'7" might be an ideal height for these pants. They are velvety soft. They look well made and of good quality of material. The legs are very wide and create movement while walking. They have a drawstring waistband, that is also elastic. The price is right. Read more
