UPDATE: I've been in touch with the manufacturer and the camera now shows on Acer's own pages. Would have been nice to have had all the other support lined up before it started getting sold, but at least it is legit after all. It doesn't have a 4X optical zoom but supports software zoom in apps that can do that. It's been working great, ran just fine out of the box with no trouble. Hopefully the rest of the documentation, website, etc. will all get in place soon but the camera itself is all good. While this has the Acer logo on it, Acer themselves know nothing about it. The company whose URL is listed in the documentation has a largely incomplete website. The camera itself seems to work fine although it's listed as having 4x zoom and that does not seem to be true. Maybe if there was documentation, it would be apparent how to make it zoom. Cost more than other shifty knock-off cameras, which I paid because I wanted the reliability of a known brand but if the known brand in question doesn't know what this product is, what did I pay extra for?
