Very impressed with this monitor. I bought 2 and it's very nice to have both attached to a wall mount, as it has VESA support. Video quality, colors and brightness is great. I upgraded from a 24" 1080p 144 hz and the difference is highly notable. A plus is that it has integrated sound speakers. The audio quality is not the best but it does the job in case you don't have an audio monitor. It has a DPort cable which is able to perform those 180hz at QHD resolution (I tested a few HDMIs but those only allowed me to reach 120hz, while on my previous monitors I was able to reach 144hz. Not sure if this is a hardware cap matter or just a lack of settings). 100% recommended. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a review after 3 months of usage, spoiler alert, I’m pretty happy with it.* I bought this 27inch 1440p 180Hz (KG271U N3bmiipx) monitor for around 170 usd with offer and taxes. Pros: 1. 2K, very fast 180hz refresh rate, with built in speakers for 170 USD. 2. Pretty high color range (DCI-P3 95%), not verified, but to naked eye, love the vivid colour accurate display, this was important to me. 3. IPS screen, meaning good viewing angles, also important for good viewing experience. 4. Decent HDR for an IPS LCD budget monitor. 5. Didn't notice any flickering. Reasons for asterisk: 1. In standard or other modes, even when set to 100, brightness feels low in well lit environments. Turning HDR mode on solves this issue, probably because of increased peak brightness, but this makes it too bright in dark environments, you won't be able to adjust screen brightness in HDR mode. Switching between standard and HDR mode felt a little tedious. 2. Overshooting is noticeable to naked eye if overdrive setting is set as extreme. Recommend setting it to minimum, or off, then it’s not at all noticeable. 3. Speakers are like what you’d expect in your typical gaming monitors. Pretty mediocre, will get the job done. They lack any base or instrument clarity or separation. In movies or songs, vocals are pretty crisp, but the background music sounds pretty low. Could be solved with headphones or speakers. 4. HDMI connections only supports upto 144hz. 5. Lack of height adjustment for stand. 6. Felt like a thick monitor, build quality is decent, all plastic, does not give you premium feels, but good for it's price. At this point you might be thinking, why did this guy give 5 stars when the cons list is bigger than pros. It's because I compared this with similarly priced Sansui ESA-G27F6Q and Arzopa M1RC side by side, and overall Acer seemed like the best pick in this price range. Read more

I bought 2 of these to replace my old work-from-home Acer monitors (10 years old) and I gotta say, I'm pretty particular about my tech. First, I was annoyed that the base doesn't raise, but get some monitor stands and you're fine. (Amazon has some inexpensive ones and they give you a little nook and cranny under the monitor for your tchotchkes that TOTALLY don't distract you from those 300 emails in your inbox). The vibrance, color, and quality of pic are great. Acer is .. aces. Setup was quick and easy, make sure you've updated your drivers and Windows just in case it gets weird when connecting them, and due to my job, I have to game with them (it's a hard-knock life, for sure), and they deliver with no problem. They're lightweight, work great for both work applications and gaming, and the response time is solid. Great price and functionality. Read more

I am very impressed with the quality of this monitor. The Blacks are very black (at 180Hz) and not washed out. To achieve 180Hz you must use a Display Port cable and not HDMI. Gaming at 2560x1440 is very impressive as well, but does require a little more GPU power than 1080p. The higher resolution took some getting used to, and rather than scale everything, which can easily be done, I chose to just tweak certain Windows applications to make the text or icons a little larger. I really enjoy having the higher resolution having migrated from a 1980x1080. Great monitor at a great price !! Read more

This monitor works great and getting it on sale made it even better. 1440p is all you will ever need especially for console gaming. It runs up to 180hz on display port but hdmi it can reach 120hz easily allowing you to maximize your response time for your console and give yourself more time to react. You can quickly switch between different modes for different games and even create user specific modes that you can adjust to your hearts desire. All of the display settings are easily adjustable through the analog button on the rear of the monitor. Also the monitor has settings that can actively adjust your picture for different situations in games (I currently cannot recall the term for it). You can adjust the brightness, saturation, and more. One of my favorite features is the different display presets such as low blue light that can help when working late on the monitor. My only demerit of the monitor is the stand itself is kind of flimsy and is not adjustable. I would advise getting a mount for your monitor of some sort if you are to purchase this monitor. Otherwise this is an amazing monitor I got for an amazing price during Prime Day Deals. Read more

This is an incredible monitor for the price and far better than anything I've had in the past. Arrived completely undamaged and was surprisingly easy to set up (plug and play). I highly recommend this one if you want a good middle ground between price and quality. Read more
