I purchased two of these monitors for a dual setup on my work desk. Excellent quality and nice clear and sharp view. Screens do have tilt adjustment, so I am not sure what the other reviewer was referring to when they said they don't adjust. They don't have a height adjustment but tilt adjustment works fine. Simple plug and play install. For the money, this monitor is a great buy! Read more

packaging was horrible. almost to the point I refused acceptance. It had a crack in the left bottom bezel/frame. But I pushed it back in and it is at least in line, so it isnt super visible. Picture if fine & it was extremely inexpensive... so I kept it. If I wasnt so lazy I would have returned it... but it gets the job done as my second monitor. Read more

The monitor is nice, it is pretty basic and fits all basic and fits all the basic needs one would need to view a laptop or tower. The wide screen does make for great organizing, I found making my icons smaller and changing their font fixes any blur in the letters and makes the desktop appear cleaner and nicer. The only thing I am not too crazy about is its only 1440X900 - so I have seen better crisper imagesand text, but it is not a deal breaker for the price. A little adjustment and the text and pics are fine! All in all the monitor is nice and fits well without all the bulk in the back and does not scrape up my newly painted wall behind it, also my other monitor was so think with the glass, i was practically squinting with a prolonged use of the monitor, where this one is much easier on the eyes. l am liking the monitor a lot and have been testing it out all morning, very easy hook up and is sleek and nice! Plus i ordered this less than 48 hours ago (late Sunday night) and woke up to it at my door this morning. (tuesday) Read more

My old iMac G5 had over 150 vertical lines on the monitor (it's old), so it was time to dispose of the whole package, or get an external monitor instead of using the built-in one. No need to get a larger monitor, since it's just mirroring what's on the iMac. This monitor does that. I'd say it's less crisp than the iMac's monitor, but as a replacement (second) monitor that extends the life of an old all-in-one computer, it does its job. Note: To connect to the iMac, you need the Apple Mini-VGA to VGA display adapter M8639G/A iBook eMac iMac G5 G4 G3 PowerBook 603-0607 Read more

I decided to purchase these monitors for use in our offices. They seemed like too good of a bargain. There were a few bad reviews on Amazon but I took the risk anyway. I have since purchased several of these for our office computers. The resolution is very good and they have a nice apperance. One review stated that you could not adjust the monitor which is not true. The entire monitor pivots front to back in the base. It's not the king of the monitor world but if your looking for a decent buy at a great price it's the one to get. Read more

Since I received my Acer Widescreen LCD Monitor I look forward to the BIG screen. It makes a world of difference sitting on my desk ready to go whenever I am. I sit down and turn it on; it opens up and it is bright and clear. I much prefer this to a laptop for my office because it makes working at my desk much easier, and the screen is tilted just right. I knew again, if I purchased it from Amazon, I could expect quality. Read more

This was one of those items chosen from customer reviews. I did not regret this purchase. The other deciding reviews formed the criteria that turned the tide. While not being the highest technology, the monitor delivers a fine picture and is adjustable for viewing. The base hinge has a stiff joint that allows you to tilt the unit in whatever position you need. You only have to look at the construction for a moment and you get the idea. Some reviewers stated that it was not adjustable. It is, the spec sheet on the unit just does not mention it. A good buy! Read more
