I had serious carpal tunnel issues, as well as RA swelling in my fingers and wrists when I discovered this truly amazing product over eight years ago. From that time on, I have not had any pain and stress issues with my wrist and fingers, and what seemed to be a hopeless situation turned completely around. It is the only mouse I will use, and I have one at home with my Mac, and at work with my PC. At one point, I was in communication with the inventor of this product, and he truly is on a mission to help people either heal from wrist stress issues, or prevent them from occurring in the first place. As he told me, because of normal mouse design, everyone is just waiting to have carpal tunnel stress issues, and this "vertical" design is the best cure and prevention. Read more

Yep, quality could be better but it is the best available. Use with a foot switch for your clicks and its unbeatable. Not cheap but the grip design is better by far than the evoluent mouse. Well worth it - ask workself whats your health worth? Read more

It it was about pure ergonomics, this would get 10 stars. I had this mouse before and for some reason it just stopped working one day after 5 yrs of good service. Given it's an older model, it took me 2 yrs to find it again. In the meantime I tried several other highly reviewed ergonomic mice and they all failed me. Mainly because they didn't have a cradle to rest your hand like this one does. So while I didn't get pain in my wrist (which is why I go this mouse in the first place) I replaced that discomfort with a pain in my forearm from tensing it so my hand wouldn't slide down the mouse or scrape the mousepad. I was so excited about finding this again, until the end of my first day of using it, when it stopped working. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and the red tracking light (which you can see through the bottom of the cradle) flickered a bit and went out again. I had it plugged into my keyboard so I tried plugging it straight into my computer, thinking it was a power issue, but no luck. For some reason the only thing that gets it to work again is unplugging it, plugging in another mouse, then waiting about 5mins before plugging this one back in. I have no idea why this works, but it does. And it doesn't happen every day nor every time I start my computer. It really does feel completely random. Given how old the model is I'm guessing this may be a driver issue, but I haven't had to install drivers for anything in about 4 yrs and would have hoped they'd updated the models accordingly. Despite this, I still use this mouse everyday as it's the only thing that prevents me from getting RSI. I just wish it was more reliable. Read more

Impossible to use. I was hoping it would help with my right arm which has pain from too much use of the mouse . Really didn't work. Read more

I've had this mouse for 3 months. I bought it to alleviate pain in my right wrist. It has done just that, it operates using the large muscles in of the arm instead of the wrist. The right and left buttons can be switched and I use my middle and index fingers to operate them. My wrist pain is all but gone. I also have a keyboard tray with a negative tilt. All of these things combined help me to work with less pain. The price is high, but being pain free was worth it. Read more

The unit shipped to me was defective. The optical sensor wasn't working properly. I returned it for a full refund. The sensor did work partially and I tried to use it for half a day. But the position of the buttons was down near the base of my fingers. I found the buttons very difficult to use. I prefer to use my finger tips for button action. Read more

I used to take this to work where I used a mouse every day for six hours straight. Replacing my work-supplied mouse resulted in instant relief. However, the left and right buttons do not feel top-quality; I would rate their feel in operation as mediocre. Also, this mouse must be quite hollow as it weighs near nothing; really out of proportion to its size. Again does not give a feeling of quality. After a year of use, the wires inside the cable as it exits the mouse broke internally; there was some scrimping on the quality of the cord; not truly flexible. I am replacing this mouse with a Logitech Performance Mouse MX Wireless. It remains to be seen whether I will develop any wrist pain with the new mouse. Read more
