Acwin Plus Derm 3 Pack Acne Spot Pimple Absorbing Cover Patch Moist Wound Dressing for Skin Trouble Acne

UPDATE 16AUG2022: To this day, I still use Acwin patches because they work for me and the price can't be beat. There was another listing that had 204 patches all in one resealable pack for $0.01 more vs these boxes. Unfortunately, that listing is unavailable at the time of this update, so here I am again. I don't know how long people expect these to stay on, but they should stick until they can't hold anymore excess fluid/oils. Hydrocolloid patches are meant to absorb fluid while protecting the area from further infection--you'll know it's working when it turns white at the spot of the pimple. At that point, you should replace it. To clarify, I always make sure my face is dry and free of facial products (serum, moisturizer, etc) before I stick these on. Whether it's right after cleansing and [air] drying my face or cleaning the area with a bit of rubbing alcohol (let it dry), it always sticks on for me. If you have really oily skin, it might not be as effective. I have acne-prone, combination skin and use these for all situations; new/ developing acne, lanced/ popped acne, indoors, outdoors, overnight, with/ without makeup, etc. It's best for acne that has been lanced or come to a head (visible pus/ white bump). There are always pros and cons, so I'll list mine and hope it helps someone. Pros: •Works as a hydrocolloid. •Sticks well on normal/dry skin. •Stays on 8+ hours on dry skin for acne without a lot of excess fluids. •Reduces scarring and inflammation. •Helps gently remove excess scabbing once skin heals or new skin forms. Cons: •Poorer adhesive on oiler skin. •Slightly visible under/with makeup. •Frequent replacement for larger, pus-filled acne. •Possible loss of patch overnight on fluid-filled acne or for restless sleepers (face scratchers/ swipers, face-in pillow, etc). Regardless of the cons, I still use these patches for all occasions. Since I have acne-prone skin, I'd prefer someone see a patch rather than an active pimple. The visibility is questionable; some people don't notice the patch, and some do notice without prompt. You can put makeup over it to reduce the shine, but the edges aren't tapered so they will show a bit. Overall, I'm still a fan of these patches and order regularly. These are on my essentials list. -- [Original Review:] I switched to Acwin from COSRX since those patches don't work as well as they used to, before COSRX changed the packaging and possibly production quality too. These Acwin patches are much stickier, work as advertised, and overall better than COSRX now. Always use on clean skin, before applying facial products like moisturizer. The sizes are decent, and the tweezers are helpful. I don't like how some patches will stick to the plastic differently and you can't tell which side of the patch is sticky--once you stick on the patch, it'll be hard to readjust it. These patches are good in value compared to others, The packaging is kind of boxy, because it comes with tweezers to put the patches on, which is good for sanitary reasons. However, these are not wearable during the day. The have a slight tint that makes the patch more noticeable. Best to wear at night to help classic blemishes that have come to a white head or that need more assistance with healing. They don't seem to help heal or absorb as much bacteria as others, but for the price it does the job. Read more

I'm amazed at how effective this product is at getting rid of acne. Because it's so easy to apply, I put it on at the first sign of a zit or just before bed, and 8 hours later, especially when I put it on at the onset, it is gone! Not only that, but the redness is significantly reduced. It is truly amazing. The only thing I don't like about this product is that every so often, it seems to whiten the area, so I can see there is a bit of a whiter circle where the patch just was. It wouldn't be noticeable to anyone else, though, just me. But I give this product 5 stars because of how effective it is and for its price. I do think the best way to use this product is with another that evens out the redness that the zits leave behind and that way the skin tone can even out. I was really close to giving this product 4 stars. Only because when it arrived to my house, the three boxes were squished, which causes them to open. Pretty upsetting. When you ship it, Please make your packaging into a small box instead of just the bubble packaging. Hopefully next time I buy it, I won’t have the same experience. But putting that aside, I was pretty skeptical on purchasing this product because it only had a few reviews. But I’m glad I tried it because they give you over 200 acne patches for a good price! They stick on really really well on the face. Not like other brands like Nexcare that sometimes sticks off and basically makes you waste product. This particular brand of acne patches are some of the best I have used! They stick very well and absorb everything leaving my skin basically all healed up when I remove them! I have used so many different brands and types of these acne patches and I have found these to be the all-around best. I am a picker (bad I know!!) and they are excellent at helping to protect my already troubled and damaged skin from my dirty fingers! 😝😅 These also do a great job at concealing the redness and ugliness of the blemish.
