Adams Christmas 7501-00-1040 Mini Light Holder 25-Pack

I don't usually write reviews but this was PERFECT for what I needed. I stick to the same Christmas decorations each year because it's so easy to hang them up inside on my windows, versus outside. For two years now I've struggled taping my lights up, the next year I used suction cups from the dollar store that had metal hooks and consistently fell down during the season. I had no problem whatsoever using these suction cups and I wish I had come across them sooner. They stuck to my window easily and got the job done. I ordered one 25 pack and used 5 suctions cups per window (I lost one of them but I managed). The only complaint I have is that they're for mini lights and I used regular Christmas lights so the grips are a little too small for my light bulbs but they still hold on perfectly. I'm sure I'd be able to come across regular sized ones but for now this product is amazing. I will definitely be ordering more in the future if need be. It's easy to use, a great price, buy it! I love these light holders! I use them to put mini lights on outdoor windows. Please be aware that it has to be above 40 degrees outside when you put them up or they won't stick to the windows. I also made sure that the holders were nice and warm when I put them up. Once they are up, it can supposedly get to -20 and they will continue to hold. I used they last year, loved them, and bought a few more packages for this year. I put 8 on per window. I also used these holders on indoor windows to hold the wider rope lights, works like a charm. Update: We just had an enormous storm last night with wind gusts around 60mph and heavy sideways rain yet all of my light holders and lights are still in place. This is an amazing product. Read more

I have been putting c5 strings up on the inside surface of windows with these holders for over twenty years. They work well. I lose a few every year when the plastic starts getting cloudy and they no longer adhere very well to the glass. No big deal, just buy a new pack every several years. Switched over to LEDs this year, and the bases are a little bigger so they don't fit quite so well - have to get the light base in the holder just right to keep it from popping out. Cleaning the window with windex before putting the lights up really helps ensure that they stay stuck. Read more

I absolutely LOVE these and if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I use them to hang Christmas lights on the inside of my windows. The cups have great suction and the hold is big enough to hold a 3-wire light strip. They mostly stay up all season without me having to re-suction them. Taking them down is quick and easy too. Hint to next user - if they are little warmed up, they will stick better. Read more

Super quality! Had to buy on-line, as stores near me never carried anything like this till recently. But have NO fear buying these. I purchased to put Christmas lights inside the windows because I don't want to fuss with ladders putting lights up on my 2-story home on a hilly lot. They work wonderfully! I have used these for a few years now and they hold the lights just great--simply push the strands into the slots--and they hold great. I cannot believe that not a one has lost its stick yet. However, I would NOT store in a cold attic, and that definitely helps increase life. In the past I threw suction cups with the holiday items I use them for, and the cold just seems to kill them. These work just okay. I used them for hanging up Christmas lights in my windows. The first problem was them not sticking well. Once I washed my windows good and made sure to moisten them before pointing them on the window, they worked a little better. The lights also keep slipping out of where it holds onto them. All in all this isn't a horrible product, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. UPDATE. I lowered my ranking to 3 stars. I had my lights up on my windows and after a week most of the hangers plastic stretched out and won't hold my lights at all. I was super sad about this cause I had to take my lights down. Read more

I am known to go a little overboard in decorating for Christmas. For years I fought with adhesive clips that didn't stick, or removing yellowed adhesive from around all of my windows. It was a dreaded task, taking hours and hours, but necessary to get that picture perfect light spacing and positioning. I had very little faith that there was any product that would work, but boy was I wrong. These little suction clips hold the light perfectly and stick to any clean window, in varying temperatures and even with significant condensation. They feel a bit awkward to work with at first, but after you work on a few you'll get the hang of it. You may have to re-stick a few within the first couple of days, but I find just rubbing that spot and clip vigorously with a paper towel for a couple of seconds does the trick.
