These are actually really good quality shelves (including the sticky thing to mount them with) but there's a fairly significant design flaw that seems almost too obvious/common sense to have gotten wrong??? LOL In the 1st of the pictures I uploaded, I initially hung one of the shelves according to the included instructions (pic of the instructions is the 4th, & as you can see, the wave pattern that I highlighted in yellow is supposed to be in front, & the opening for the soap holder with the red arrow pointing to it should be facing out) but the whole shelf would hang awkwardly pointing upwards/cockeyed (pic 1). Reason being, those two pointy pieces of metal sticking out that I circled in the 2nd pic - they push the whole bottom of the shelf up & out from the wall. I'm not even sure what their intended function was supposed to be? Both the shelves had this same issue. It's fair to say the only real problem with this is cosmetic (doesn't affect the functionality) but it looks ridiculous imo, so I turned the shelves around, with the wave pattern on the back (pic 5). On the bigger shelf (pic 5) you can't really tell it's on backwards, but with the smaller one, the soap holder opening is now facing the wall, so you have to slide the soap in from the side &, not only will this make harder to get the soap out, it makes it obvious that it isn't hung right. Thank goodness I hung the bigger one (that's not as obviously hanging wrong) facing the shower entrance. As far as the mountings go, they're essentially big, clear, oblong stickers. I was a little hesitant to order these because I was afraid stickers wouldn't be enough to hold them up (especially after loading with heavy shampoo bottles) but as it turns out, they're actually crazy strong. If you order these, I'd highly suggest being careful to get them put up straight on your 1st try because I'm not so sure they'll be all that easy to get off/reposition (lol). I'm keeping the shelves because they DO serve their purpose, & are actually pretty attractive (when hung backwards lol), but my guess is there's probably a ton of other shelves being sold out there that you wouldn't have to improvise on how you hang 'em *SHRUG*. Was skeptical at first at how a sticker would be able to hold up a shelf full of bottles. Surprisingly, even after a month of use, no signs of that adhesive coming loose. Even completely full of bottles that I press down on to get soap out, no budging! Plenty of space for all of my shampoo and soaps. Nice to have them off of the floor of the shower where water stays under the bottles. With them in the air on these shelves, they stay dry and keep the mold away. Very happy with these! Read more
