So, as a lifelong fan of Adidas I eventually switched to Nike for several years but the quality and the price was never comparable. I just like to match and Nike had some great looking shoes, Air Force ones particularly and who wears af1’s with an adidas fit? That’s just crazy lol BUT.., I’ve finally come home to Adidas and I’m honestly just blown away by the quality of every purchase. These same shirts with a Nike swish, would be 4-5x times more expensive. The fabrics, the designs, the print, the stitching, etc. all very high quality and just have that premium durable feel. Not super flimsy cheap feel like some of the Nike shorts. These are great, I will be buying more in various colors, could not be happier with this purchase or any of my recent adidas purchases Read more

I bought a pair of these a gazillion years ago and have worn them out. I was surprised to see the same model still for sale. They are fantastic! The size is just right, love the pockets with excellent zippers, and the material and stitching is very nice. I had the first pair for many years so I can say they are very durable. Read more

I already own 2 pairs of these adidas Men's Train Essentials Piqué 3-Stripes Shorts in size medium in blue and black, both with the white stripes, and they both have an 8" inseam, which is perfect for me. I'm 5' 10" and 170 lbs. The fit is pretty good, and they are nice and light and perfect for working out. The zippered pockets are a nice touch, although I wish they were just a tad bit deeper. That being said, I am able to barely zip them closed even with my Samsung 25S Ultra in my pocket. I deducted one star because they DON'T tell you that the length/inseam is different depending on color. I ordered 2 more pairs, maroon with black stripes and black with red stripes, and the inseam for those is 9" instead of 8"! The longer length is annoying to me because the bottoms of the legs tend to catch on my knees or quads when doing squats or deadlights. Read more

Adidas Essential Training Shorts don't have to bet worn just for working out. It's made with 100% recycled polyester. Pique fabric isn't a smooth as any tricot mesh, which is my favorite or even as cotton blend polyester or other 100% polyester fabrics used in athletic clothing like used compression clothing that is smooth. Pique is fabric with thatcis highly soft but not with any silkyness. Where Pique is best at is the breathability because so when held to a light it's see thru. However it not the same as mesh fabrics. Think of it a a heavy fabric to the tricot liner in mesh shorts. These shorts can be worn and are just as comfortable to any athletics shorts for any casual wear. On Adidas website it's all about wearing these shorts for a workout. However they can be worn just for any indoor or outdoor occasion. I bought red with black stripes. There are 3 other colors I want to buy in these shorts. When available in size and color Adidas does sell other fabrics so if Pique fabric isn't favorite adidas make a couple of other types of fabrics. I like the length and over all fit and is very comparable in with mesh and normal size leg openings. I have Russel Athletics Dri Power Cotton Blend and Mesh Shorts and Athletic Works Mesh Shorts so with Pique it gives me just another fabric option even if doesn't have the highest smoothest to mesh. I have 2 things to mention on the style. With Adidas Essential shorts the BOS Logo on leg is a nice touch and doesn't over do it. It's great having zip pockets. All of my althetic shorts have small pockets and to have zipper pockets is great for not having to worry about not loosing stuff because of small short pockets. Read more
