My daughter loved these shoes! They fit true to size, though if anything, they run slightly on the narrower side—something to keep in mind if your child has wider feet. The leather feels like good quality and looks durable, so I expect they'll hold up well with regular use. Accurate sizing, good quality, as described. I wear these shoes almost every day for work and they hold up well. They've been washed a few times without issue. I am a size 8.0-8.5 in women's and the Big Kids 7Y fit perfectly. I would re-purchase the traditional version and the colored versions. Definitely recommend if you're in the market for Sambas. These shoes are very cute and I guess sturdy but the sole is thin like the picture. But the feature I don’t like is the toungh of the shoes is poking my foot and also how the shoes some times moves around when I’m moving. Other then this the shoes are cute and I got them in a 5.5 and look pretty big and I wear a seven or six and a half. Read more
I bought these because I have been wanting them and saw they are cheaper in kids than the men's sizes. I am a true size 7 in women's and saw that people on here got a 5.5 big kids so I went ahead and did the same. They are very comfortable but I might have gotten away with getting a 5 because I have about an inch from the top of my toe to the very top of the shoe. But I don't think I want to risk getting a smaller size and then they be too tight so I am going to keep these. The back of the shoe doesn't fit very snug my heel moves up and down a little bit and it gets annoying. Mine came with the tag on the tongue being white with red. I noticed some pics on here people have a blue tag instead. I don't know what the difference is but I am happy with my purchase. **UPDATE** I returned them for a half size smaller which is a 5 and got my money back for the 5 1/2. They come in today I will update once I try them on. Fingers crossed they fit me better. I received my shoes and tried them on. I like them way better now. They fit way better and still feel comfortable. ****Another UPDATE***** Well, I wore these for a bit and turns out they are too tight in the toe area and hurt my feet so I returned these. I guess the 5.5 were a better fit after all even though they had a bit extra toe room. They didn't hurt my toes though like the size 5 do. Read more
