Usually, women's shoes are a 1.5 size difference from men's, but going one size up is correct. My size is normally a women's 10 and I ordered both shoes (men's 8.5/and women's 9.5 as well as men's 9/womens10). I found that both fit, with the women's 10 (men 9) having some extra room in the toe box area, and the women's 9.5 (men 8.5) was more narrow in the heel and rubbed slightly. I hope that helps. They look great, but the fit is a bit awkward. The heel slips out of the back of the shoe and it doesn’t feel like it’s on securely. Also, the tongue kind of digs in to the front of the foot. I’m hoping these are the type of shoes that need to be “broken in” and will say that I have definitely gotten a little more used to them after wearing them in the gym for a few days. They have a nice sturdy feeling which helps with balance while doing certain exercises like split squats, etc. There isn’t really any arch support so definitely not a running shoe.
