If you are, as I am, aggravated when you wake up in the night and find that your fitted sheets have slipped off the bed, and you're lying directly on the mattress or mattress padding, these bands are absolutely indispensable. Many nights I have slept on mattresses on fitted sheets. Those sheets once had elastic to hold them in place. But that elastic stopped holding the sheet in place over the many washings. I used lots of devices to secure the bottom sheets to the bed without success. Then I found these elastic bands and they work great. On ordinary mattresses, fitted sheets may be fine. But I have a foam mattress "topper" on my mattress to support my back. Because the foam mattress topper makes the bed a couple of inches higher, the bottom sheets gave up from time-to-time. The mattress foam topper solved the problem of backaches, but added the problem of bottom sheet slippage. Since I have been using these, I have tight bottom sheets that stay in place all night every night. Super easy to use. They grip the sheets firmly. Didn't work for me. They retracted once I tried to change the sheets and I was unable to get under the bed to grab them again. The straps are now just tangled under my bed of no use whatsoever after only one use. Read more
