Replacement unit after first one-star review (see below). Instructions are good, but here are two suggestions: A) Don't tighten down the legs initially as you'll need some movement when place tabletop (buttons) on the legs and B) before placing tabletop on legs, raise legs pushing down on blue buttons about two positions, then align tabletop. Then tighten all the bolts & screws. This unit works as advertised, raising height has some resistance, but then again this is not German engineered. But it works. 1st delivery: Pros: (1) Tape securing the package is very strong; (2) The allen wrench and wrench included work very well constructing and deconstructing the table; (3) The product is heavy; (4) It does assemble 3/4's of the way quickly, it's that finishing last 1/4 that doesn't fit. But it quickly de-assembles for shipping back to Amazon. Cons: (1) The blue adjustment buttons are recessed 1-inch below table versus photos showing they are flush, for easy adjustment; (2) The table does not lift freely anywhere near the height as reported: (3) Amazon Support admitted many have written regarding the table's poor tolerances and fit; it was built in China, not Germany; (4) The locking wheels roll freely in the locked position: (5) Manufacturer's video must be of someone else's design, certainly not what was delivered. The finished product seems pretty decent, particularly given the price. The only thing is that I can confirm other comments in that while my box was completely untouched and undamaged, I was also missing hardware. Specifically, while two of the roller feet had a jam nut (one of the locking rollers and the one non-locking roller), the remaining locking roller was missing the jam nut. That nut should not be a locking nut, such as one with a nylon insert lock. Additionally, the two vertical legs each have two bolts, which are affixed with a flat washer and a locknut each. One of those locknuts was also missing. In the event that others encounter this, both nuts are metric 8x1.25 nuts. I fortunately have a pretty well equipped shop, and had both locking and regular nuts on hand. Once assembled, the unit works, seems pretty stable, and I can't complain about it. Read more
So far I'm really happy with this movable stand. I purchased the HomeTro walking pad from Amazon, not realizing it didn't come with any kind of bar and with my inner ear issues I need something to touch or hold every so often while walking on a treadmill. It took about a week to get here but that's understandable considering it's weight. It was extremely easy to put together and feels quite sturdy. The table top has plenty of room and the rubber pad keeps anything from rolling or sliding around. There's plenty of space for a laptop, a large water bottle, a large book, etc. I don't like that the cup holders are in the front, I wish they were towards the back but it's not a big deal. I'll probably keep my cup on the table top and use the cup holders for my remotes. Speaking of the table top, it raises and lowers very easily. You push the two blue buttons and pull or push, up or down and it locks into place. The wheels roll really well, even on carpet which is what mine is sitting on. I'm a little concerned with the wheels because there's only 3 instead of 4 but if anything I could remove the wheels altogether and it'll be a bit more stable. Price-wise it's a little expensive but considering everything else that was cheaper either looked like junk or wasn't what I wanted, it's worth it when you find what you're looking for. This was exactly what I wanted when searching for a universal treadmill stand-bar. Definitely recommend, 10/10. Read more

I was a little worried about two things - but both were non-issues once I received this. 1 - many complaints about assembly and the buttons not aligning - it's user error. I had no problem getting this assembled and nicely aligned. Get everything lined up where it should be before you do the final tightening - it works fantastically. 2 - I wasn't sure how far I could bring it back over my bike on the trainer - but indeed, I can raise it over my handlebars and bring the tray back close enough to sit with a vertical upright posture and type on my laptop. This has been game changing to allow me to multitask work while doing lower intensity longer endurance rides - and really paid off when I hit the road this spring! Highly recommended - while I love my Wahoo Bolt and KICKR, their desk price is just obscene compared to this! Read more

I needed a fitness desk for my laptop while cycling on a trainer. In deciding between this product and the much more expensive "name brand", I went with this one and was happy I did. I found it to be easy to put together (wrench and hex key provided) and very sturdy. The base and "legs" are made of metal. There are three wheels and the front two can be locked. The top is made of plastic with a no slip surface and two cup holders. There is a button on each side of the table top in order to raise or lower the table. At the highest setting, I have a few inches of clearance between the table and my bike handlebars, even with my front wheel about three and a half inches off the floor. Yes, the slits in the table through which to feed cables are small, but I wasn't planning on using them anyway. All in all, a great product for the money. Read more
