I have been using this DeskLogics keyboard rest every day at work for the last nine months, and it’s held up beautifully without wearing down. I find it very comfortable. It's completely solved the wrist strain I used to get from typing all day. The cushion is strong too - I have a habit of leaning on it with my elbows and it still supports my weight. It has adjustable features that work just fine, but once I found the sweet spot that worked for me, I just left it in that position. Haven't looked back and haven't had sore wrists either! DeskLogics wrist pad is the answer to my desk cutting into my wrist and forearms when trying to type. There are two very thick gel pads that, when I bear most of my weight onto them, are still so comfortable. They also do not slide very easily, and my little laptop desk is very slippery. The pads are on a track that can pull pretty far apart, a little over two feet in fact and they are very easy to slide apart. But what really sets this wrist pad apart from the rest is the fact that they can fold up and can very easily be stashed into your computer bag or pack. The hinge on this feel very durable and the plastic body the pads are attached to is thick plastic. This is a great quality product! I have been using this wrist pad for several days now and cannot imagine NOT having this exact padding under my arms! It feels so great! The feel and the packing convenience of this wrist pad make it absolutely worth every penny! Ten stars! Review Method: 1 Star = Terrible. I would NOT consider buying it. 2 Stars = Marginal at best. So this wrist pad is unique in teens of its flexibility & consequently its portability. Most desk/keyboard wrist pads are fairly rigid length wise so they're not ideal at all for traveling with or carrying in a backpack or laptop bag. This item though solves that problem with it's ability to quickly fold up into a convenient size that's easily transportable. I like the support and comfort this wrist rest provides; the folding functionality also allows more choice on angling the rest to your particular hand positions so you can get the most comfort out of it. I wish you could give this wrist rest 5-stars, however unfortunately I'm not so sure on the overall durability of it. The "leather" like material covering the pads doesn't seem like it's going to last very long (especially with high usage) before it starts peeling & degrading. The folding mechanism is made of plastic and also just lacks that feeling of quality. If kept in one spot it might last a decent while, but it's far from travel ready in the long run—I just don't think it has the construction quality to last. If kept in some sort of soft bag or case then I'm sure it could last a big longer, but otherwise... If you really need the folding functionality or simply like the ability to position the rest in more flexible ways than just straight, this item is a solid choice. Just don't expect it to last longer than 6-12mo unless you really baby the thing. Read more
